BBC Children in Need returns on Friday 16 November at 7pm on BBC One, with a rich offering of stellar entertainment acts, all appearing to raise money for disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
Terry Wogan will host the 28th Appeal Night, live from BBC Television Centre – which over seven hours will feature some of the UK's top TV, musical and theatrical personalities and acts.
He will be joined by a series of guest presenters, including Fearne Cotton.
On hosting the 2007 BBC Children in Need Appeal Night, Terry said: "It is always a privilege and pleasure, the highest point of my year, to present BBC Children in Need.
"Last year was a record breaker and this year we are hoping the great British public will give us even more. We've certainly got a fantastic show line-up this year. I know I say that every year but this year really is special."
Fearne added: "I'm really happy to be involved again with BBC Children in Need. So many fantastic performers are taking part this year and the atmosphere at BBC Television Centre will be electric.
"The live show is sure to keep the nation entertained, whilst also raising lots of money for disadvantaged children and young people across the UK".
Highlights on the night include:
The Spice Girls; Kylie; John Barrowman and Annie Lennox.
Exclusive BBC Children in Need themed scenes from Doctor Who and Hotel Babylon; plus a musical extravaganza from Albert Square with the cast of EastEnders.
Junior Dragon's Den and a Never Mind The Buzzcocks special – as Radio 1 take on Radio 2.
Lee Mead with the cast of Joseph and a performance from the West End stars of Dirty Dancing.
Sugababes, McFly, Westlife.
Appeal messages from a host of celebrities, including Take That.
And, of course a very special live performance by the BBC newsreaders.
The programme will also feature broadcasts from around the UK, as BBC presenters join their local communities to catch up with some energetic and creative fundraising exploits.
Quirky regional fundraisers already planned, include young fire fighters in Swansea climbing ladders to the equivalent height of Mount Everest and the staff of Alton Towers holding a sleepover in a haunted castle.
This year the fundraising theme is Do Something Different and all those who step up to the challenge, or pick up the phone to pledge money for the BBC Children in Need Appeal, will be part of a huge community of supporters that make a huge difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.

Last year's BBC Children in Need television broadcast raised over £18million pounds on the night and the 2006 total appeal eventually topped £33million.

HI i really appreciate children in need and all the fund raising as its for a very good cause.
BUT what really annoys me is the fact that most of the stars on the show are worth many millions and you dont see them ever parting with money, they give time but time doesnt help the children its cold hard cash that does!!!
Why dont the spice girls for instance offer some of there personal wealth, estimated at around 90 million between them?? thats not to mention many of the other stars as wogan is wirth millions and webber is worth multi millions, the list just goes on and on and its always the generous public that pays!!
Thats the way its always been i guess so i dont suppose i could have expected a change this or any other year?
Thats enough of my ranting as im off out again now to raise some more money for the event!!
