Season four of the US medical drama kicks off with a double bill. In the first episode, quirky new psychiatrist Dr Molly Clock (Heather Graham) quickly begins forging new friendships among the staff. Meanwhile, JD tries to smooth over his relationship with Elliot since their break-up. In the second programme, JD and Elliot compete for the Chief Resident position, which only leads to more tension in their relationship.

After a hard day at work, Dr Cox faces the task of telling his son a goodnight story, so he disguises his day as a fairy tale about the little village Sacred Heartlia, with Carla and Turk as the two-headed witch Turla, Elliot as the princess and JD as the village idiot.

Elliot and JD discover a major change in their relationship when they spend time together looking for a former patient; Carla and Turk talk about the possibility of a second baby; and the Janitor claims that Dr Kelso's abandoned office for the brain trust.

Dr. Cox worse patient, who he hasn't been able to diagnose for two years, is back again darkening his door. Meanwhile, Dr. Kelso is required to go before the retirement board when his true age is revealed.

J.D. becomes scared that he is not masculine enough to set an example for his son, especially after Dr. Cox gives him a hard time about being a whiney man-child.

Thursday 19 June

J.D.'s teenage burn patient gives him a hard decision to make when he wants to go to his high school graduation. Turk doesn't want Carla to find out that he secretly learned Spanish. To address Dr. Kelso's weight gain, Dr. Cox makes a game out of stealing his breakfast.

Thursday 12 June

Dr. Kelso signs Sacred Heart up for RateYourDoctor.org, a website where patients can evaluate and score their doctors, in the hope that this will lead to better patient care. However while in pursuit of the number one spot Turk and Dr. Cox play dirty to take J.D. out of the running.

Thursday 5 June

The Sacred Heart staff has to deal with their inner child when J.D. and Turk remember their first prank, Dr Cox has a ten year old Leukemia patient and Dr. Kelso celebrates his birthday.
