Channel 4's major season on gun and knife crime, Disarming Britain, concludes with a one-hour live programme presented by Jon Snow. The Street Weapons Commission, chaired by Cherie Booth QC, will present their recommendations for tackling violence on our streets, which will be debated in front of a live studio audience. The Commissioners include Ian Levy, whose son was killed in a knife attack, Lord Geoffrey Dear, the former Chief Constable of the West Midlands, and experts in youth policy, education and social entrepreneurship.

Lennie James is Joe, a policeman returning to the estate where he grew up to investigate the murder of a black teenager. When 16-year-old Kwame is stabbed to death by a local gang, the lives, feelings and fears of the young perpetrators and the police officers investigating the crime are exposed in full.
