1968 Unseen

Forty years ago, broadcasting legend Bernard Braden recorded over 350 interviews with the most iconic and recognised faces of the 1960’s from the worlds of showbusiness, film, politics and sport. He recorded the interviews at his own expense and this never- before-seen archive is to be exclusively revealed in the three-part series,1968 Unseen.

Braden pioneered the consumer champion format with Braden’s Week, a series that also examined the political and cultural state of the nation. In 1968 Unseen viewers will have unique access to his extraordinary interviews, revealing portraits of iconic 60’s names: Peter Cook; Cilla Black; Robert Maxwell; Lulu; Enoch Powell; Quentin Crisp and Sean Connery and others who, for many different reasons, defined the era.
