Big Brother 13

This morning, Day 61, began quietly with most of the housemates in the Big Brother house still thinking about the whirlwind events of last night, which saw Becky leaving – with no money – and Conor leaving fifty grand better off.

Over breakfast, Luke A asked Deana, “Did that just happen?”

Well, yes it did, said Deana, adding, “You can always make that money, but you can’t buy this experience.”

To which I would say, “Whatev… I’m £50k better off” if I were Conor!

“I’d much rather the experience”, Luke A added, and again, I suspect he wouldn’t have thought that way had he been the one to wander off with £50k!

But on to the rest of today’s news, and this afternoon, BB set the remaining housemates a task.

In a nutshell, they had to go one by one – which is almost biblical – into the Diary Room where each HM was given a mystery magical potion to drink, without knowing what the ‘effects’ would be… Continue reading »

As Big Brother viewers will know, this series has been one of the most controversial – and bitchy! – series in the history of the show…

But yesterday, Day 55, BB decided to give the housemates a chance to confess their sins and repent for them!

In a challenged entitled, The Confession Task, BB put a confession box in the garden, and one by one, the HMs had to confess to all the ‘sins’ they’ve committed during their time in the house.

Big Brother told them that what they reveal will go no further, and added that housemates should be “honest and open” about anything that they’re ashamed off or that they considered to be “morally questionable.”

If at least six housemates disclosed details to Big Brother’s satisfaction, they would earn the ingredients for a roast dinner and pudding. And as they did indeed confess to BB’s satisfaction, later in the day, they enjoyed a slap up Sunday lunch.

However, as the housemates confessed so many sins, Big Brother decided that it would be appropriate for them to absolve themselves of their sins, and this is how they had to do so… Continue reading »

Yesterday was of course a big day in the BB house because not only was it the culmination of the Gold Rush task – which they failed by the way, so have only a basic shopping budget this week – but it was also face to face nominations…

And as a result of those nominations, Lauren and Luke A both face eviction on Friday.

Here’s how everyone nominated…

Conor nominated Deana and Lauren

Caroline nominated Luke A and Lauren

Luke S nominated Lauren and Luke A

Sara nominated Luke A and Lauren… Continue reading »

Yesterday was Day 41 in the BB house, and it saw the start of the Gold Rush shopping task, the rules for which you can read all about in my post from yesterday by clicking here.

As per usual, the task sees several challenges that the housemates must take part in, and yesterday, they had to endure being shot in the butt by paint balls and later, a hoe down challenge to see which team gave the best rootin’ tootin’ dance off moves.

However, as Conor and Caroline are respectively the Sheriff and Deputy for the task, it’s up to them to judge various the various challenges. So for the hoe down, it was up to Caroline who won and she put The Good team in third place – which equates to last place – and that infuriated Scott.

He didn’t take kindly to Caroline’s judgement that he and his team were “ridiculous”, “pathetic”, and he really took exception to her saying that his Vogue face was crap.

After the task, an angry Scott said, “I wouldn’t mind if I thought we were the worst, but we were not. She’s annoyed with me today, she sub-consciously put us last.” Continue reading »

This year’s housemates have to be the bitchiest, most annoying, most… well, everything really – well done BB – and today, they’ve proved, if proof were needed, that when it comes to being a T.E.A.M., there are most certainly some HMs who think that means it’s all about ME…

Them, that is, not me. I don’t mean me…

Anywho, the task began when Luke S, Luke A and Adam became Wardens, and as such, they’ll oversee the behaviour of HMs, issuing tickets for rule breaks. However, if they miss a rule-break, they’ll incur a fail for the group. Similarly, if BB deems they’ve been too harsh and wrongly issued a ticket, that’s a fail too.

Here’s a run down of the rules or you can click here to hear Luke S reading them to the group… Continue reading »

Yesterday saw Deana and Shievonne getting into a row over the fact that Shievonne was facing eviction this week, due, she seems to think, entirely to Deana…

And today, the row began again this morning, but was actually a row about yesterday’s row! Yikes.

Here’s a clip of their war of words today…

When the dust settled, it seemed Sara was very much on Team Deana, so it seems there’s a new BFF situation going on there then… Continue reading »

Today is Day 35, and as the Green Team won control of the Diary Room in the final Turf Wars challenge, that means only Scott, Deana, Becky, Adam and Luke S were nominating this week.

And of course, as we now know, Conor and Shievonne are facing eviction this Friday.

However, also today, BB has revealed some interesting stats about the five weeks’ worth of nominations, which – excluding today’s votes – have seen Deana topping the nominations chart with a whopping 17 housemate votes to date.

Lauren is the second most nominated housemate with 12 votes in the last four weeks, followed closely by Luke S, however, unlike Lauren, Luke S has never been up for eviction.

Ashleigh has had the least nominations – just two so far – both of which were from Adam, and Scott has only received three votes, as has Shievonne, while Sara and Adam are tied with four nominations each… Continue reading »

Yesterday, Day 34, saw the climax of the Turf Wars task with the Diary Room up for grabs…

And of course, there was some skullduggery afoot by Blue Team members Luke A and Lauren, who planned to sabotage the Blue Team’s efforts in order to have the Green Team win, because they’re convinced it’s the only way to save Adam from being nominated by Blues, Shievonne, Ashleigh and Caroline…

However, in a double-bluff scenario, first, Luke A won the challenge – which he faced opposite Green Team member Adam – so he was livid to learn the Blues had won the rights to the Diary Room and those all important nominations.

But that wasn’t the end of the story because BB called Luke A into the Diary Room to tell him that because Conor, Caroline and Ashleigh broke Big Brother rules by discussing nominations, they had forfeited the Diary Room, so the Greens won.

That of course means that today, only Becky, Deana, Scott and Adam will be permitted to nominate… Continue reading »

Last night, Arron Lowe became the latest evictee from the Big Brother house, and for me, his eviction means an end to the majority of the drama that’s making this year’s series such addictive watching…

So I’m definitely in the ‘sad’ camp.

And I’m worried that with some of the show’s biggest characters gone, and seemingly continuing to do so week on week, we’re going to end up with the dullest show in the world…

Do we really want to watch Becky and Deana sulking and/or crying – and when they’re not doing that, sitting around twiddling their hair – for the remaining weeks?

To be honest, my worst case scenario is that Becky, Deana, Scott and Caroline end up being the final four. But I guess as bad would be Ashleigh, Luke A, Lauren and Sara… Continue reading »

Today is Day 31 in the Big Brother house, and so far in the Turf Wars task, the Green Team are beating the collective arses of the Blue Team who have only the living area to call their own…

The Green Team however have the bathroom, the bedroom and the kitchen, and with the kitchen came the right to spend a luxury shopping budget that only the Green Team can use.

And you’d think that would’ve made things easy and harmonious for the Green Team, given there are only six of them compared to the Blue Team’s seven, but not so, because when the list arrived, Adam and Luke S differed in opinion over what to spend money on…

Adam wanted to ensure that cigarettes and tobacco were high on the list of priorities, whereas non-smoker Luke S was having none of it. And as he’s the self-appointed alpha male in the house, it remains to be seen if Adam will get his way or not. I suspect not… Continue reading »
