A TRANNY gay Mexican wrestler is set to become Big Brother’s most controversial contestant ever. Cassandro has told Big Brother bosses: “Come and get me,” claiming he will be a ratings smash.

He reckons he will set a “positive example” to British transvestites and spice up the show with wild antics when it returns later this year.

Outrageous Cassandro, whose real name is Saul Armendariz, has already caused a stir after threatening to flatten Top Gear star Jeremy Clarkson, 51.

The 41-year-old said he would love to get his hands on the gobby presenter after he made fun of Mexicans on the show.

Cassandro now says he will pull out all the stops to get on Big Brother.

He said: “I’m coming to England with my group Lucha Futures in June and I’m ready for anything.

“I’m here to set a positive example for everyone.

“As a gay man who has had a hard road to be accepted in my profession, I want to inspire and excite the British public. From what I hear Big Brother is the best way to do it.”

Cassandro’s trademark is to face his opponents wearing a feather boa and woman’s leotard.

Channel 5 bosses are now set to approach him with one source admitting: “It’d certainly make unmissable viewing.”

The channel is bringing back the show this summer with a fresh new look.

Former Big Brother host Davina McCall has offered a few words of advice to the hopefuls who are applying for this year’s Big Brother, which is of course to be aired by Channel 5.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Davina – who won’t be involved with the show herself – said, “If I was auditioning, I’d impress Big Brother within the first ten seconds.

“You’ve got to do or say something or be different enough for them to say, ‘Oh, you’re interesting’.

“When you get in there, hang back for a couple of weeks and get to know people.

“Watch a little bit from outside and let all the big characters annoy everybody. I always think the people who are really loud at the beginning are the first out.

“I hate people who run around talking to the cameras all the time. “I don’t want you to start having a commentary with Big Brother.”

Davina also warned against becoming a “peacekeeper” when actually in the house.

She said, “If there’s a stonking argument going on, don’t go in and break it up.

“I do quite enjoy watching something and [seeing] it resolve itself.

“And the other really important thing is, use the diary room. A lot. You get a dynamic in the diary room.

“When someone’s looking down the lens, you feel connected to that housemate. And the public need to feel connected to you if you’re going to win it.

“And have a reason to be in there, rather than just being a wannabe.”
