Big Brother 2011

Plus,Anton Murphy allegedly threatened to punch Rebeckah Vaughn! And Kerry Katona calls police over crazed stalker

Channel 5 have just released the first trailers for next year’s Celebrity Big Brother, and though they’re woefully short, they do reveal the show’s launch date…

Which is January 5th.

And it’s been rumoured that former X Factor finalist Frankie Cocozza will go into the house, as well as 80’s pop icon Boy George, and WAG Natasha Giggs.

Here are the trailers…

In other BB news, as fans of the show will recall, when Big Brother announced a twist over the prize money – that each housemate would get a portion of £50k – all the housemates agreed to split the money won into lots of £10,000 each when they left the house.

However, it seems Jay McKray – who is now engaged to house girlfriend Louise Cliffe – has taken to Twitter to accuse Alex Rose of going back on the deal. She of course won £30,000 of the £50,000.

And as if that wasn’t all bad enough, Rebeckah Vaughan has apparently called the police and reported Anton Murphy for threatening her!

But first, on Twitter, Jay wrote, “Some people are so different out off bb,” and later, he tweeted that Alex had only shared her money with Tom O’Connell.

Jay added, “Alex is a totally different person…

“Am trying 2 be sivel but she’s not the same person a was in that house with really nasty ! Am shocked to bits ! Not disco at al. (sic)

“[Alex is] not a nice person she’s a nasty person…[she is] very nasty she’s callin me worse than s**t am not putting up with it like just a bit upsetting.

“no 1 cares about the money happiness is what counts.”

Over now to the Anton and Rebeckah spat, and she claims he made threats towards her in a live video message that he posted to Twitter.

Rebeckah tweeted, “Me and All the #twitterfambo on my twitcam said absolutely nothing about anton yet as soon as he gets on his twitcam he starts talking about me asking what I was saying.

“Go away waste man nobody on my twitter EVER talks about you. You don’t exist in my world stop tweeting and talking about me your embarrassing yourself.”

And when Anton then allegedly threatened to punch Rebeckah the next time he sees her, she asked if her followers would be prepared to give statements to the police about what he’d said.

Yikes!

Another former BB star, Kerry Katona, has also contacted the police with regard to a stalker who’s terrifying her.

The Sunday Mirror states that the alleged stalker is an“American lady” who’s been calling Kerry non stop for weeks, and rather bizarrely, the woman claims to have seen Kerry naked.

The Mirror’s reporter adds, “The ex-Atomic Kitten contacted police after the unidentified woman called her manager Max Clifford and said she had just watched Kerry getting dressed in her bedroom at her Surrey mansion.”

Kerry said, “I was getting dressed and there was a phone call to Max’s company from this lady saying she’d been watching me getting changed.

“The thing was I had been naked and putting my clothes on minutes before.

“So I panicked and called the police. But this woman has been annoying us all for weeks now.

“At the end of the day I’ve got four kids, live in a big house and have to take this sort of thing seriously.

“This is the first time I’ve felt genuinely scared about a stalker. I won’t let this beat me though.

“I’m finally getting my life on track and nothing is going to stand in my way.”

Agent Max added, “It’s very sad for the lady and very scary for Kerry.”

Wow, the world’s full of ‘em eh?

Plus applications now open for Big Brother 2012!

Today is of course the last day of this year’s Big Brother, and after Tom’s eviction last night, the big question is of course, who’s going to win?

I still think it’ll be Alex, but I have to say, I really thought Aaron would go last night, so given that he didn’t, maybe he’ll win the thing! Do you think he will?

Moving on to news though, and last night, after Tom went, poor Alex was inconsolable. She so badly wanted him to be in the final with her, that she just couldn’t stop crying.

Here’s a clip of Tom’s eviction, followed by the housemates trying to comfort a sobbing Alex…

After Tom left, Louise kept saying “I can’t believe it” and in a bid to cheer Alex up, Aaron offered her a few comforts…

He said, “Do you want some water Alex? Do you want a custard cream? Do you want me to put pasta in my hair? Shall I just shut up now?”

But his efforts did manage to elicit a giggle from Alex, bless her.

Before the eviction though, things had been somewhat subdued in the house, with Louise spending most of the day snoozing while Tom entertained himself by grilling Aaron as to what he and Faye got up to under the covers.

However, Aaron turned the tables on Tom by suggesting that he and Alex got up to some “rumpy pumpy” of their own the night before, which both Tom and Alex denied.

Meanwhile, Jay kept himself busy by making a bolognaise, however, to the horror of some of the housemates, he made it with turkey mince! Yikes.

And Louise kept Alex entertained with a neat little trick. Here’s a clip…

So, getting back to Tom’s eviction, when the four finalists decided to turn in after an emotional evening, Big Brother had a special message for them.

Here’s a clip of that message…

Awww, it’s kinda sad isn’t it! However, if you’d like to find yourself in the BB house next summer, here’s how you can apply…

If you do apply, let us know how you get on!

And don’t forget, the final starts at 9pm on Channel 5 tonight!

Plus, Housemates’ Housemate task, and Aaron reveals his ‘man crush’

It was a pretty hectic day in the BB house yesterday, with a new task, and revelations all round…

We’ll get to all that in a moment, because the big news from yesterday is that the housemates learned last night that one of them will be leaving the show tonight.

They found out via Emma Willis, who presented last night’s edition of Bit on the Side live from the BB garden. She made the announcement about tonight’s live eviction show after making the housemates believe someone was going there and then. The feisty minx…

Here are a few clips that show the moment housemates discovered that Emma and a celeb panel were outside, and their reaction to the news about the next eviction…

Bookies have Tom as the favourite to go tonight, but I reckon it’ll be Aaron. What do you think?

On now to yesterday’s task – which kept everyone busy while the Bit on the Side crew set up outside – and the remaining housemates had to choose who was their ultimate housemate from the series.

The housemates had just one hour to work on their ‘electoral campaign speech’ but they were supplied with topics to include in their speeches.

They each had to come up with a five minute presentation on why they think they deserve to win Big Brother. Each presentation had to abide by Big Brother’s set criteria had to address the following:

What they have brought to the House

What they have learnt during their time in the House

What winning would mean to them/why they should win

Once the speeches were prepared, they all received smart outfits, complete with a ‘Vote For Me’ rosette. They then had to deliver their speech to the house.

After each presentation Big Brother allowed questions from the audience during which the other housemates were allowed to ask the speaker about anything they wanted to.

At the end of the presentations, the housemates had two minutes to decide which housemate made the most convincing plea. They then cast their votes in the Big Brother ballot box – but they weren’t allowed to vote for themselves!

The winner, Alex, received ‘The Housemate’s housemate’ sash and a bottle of champagne to celebrate.

Here’s a clip of the housemates learning about the task, and of Alex trying – and failing for the most part – to open her prize champagne without taking out someone’s eye…

Our final look at yesterday’s house action is that Aaron revealed he has – or did have – a ‘man crush’ on BB host Brian Dowling.

Here’s the moment of revelation…

So, who do you reckon is offski tonight, and why?

More BB news tomorrow when it’s the big one – the final!

Plus housemates get a make-over and a photo shoot

Yesterday, Tom and Alex had their first ever tiff, which began when Tom accused Alex of being “thick” after she couldn’t spell ‘sellotape.’

When the actual incident happened – during their joint birthday party – Alex didn’t seem too bothered, but it was clearly troubling her, and yesterday, she could barely bring herself to speak to Tom.

Seeing the tension between them, Aaron said to Alex, “Right then missy, why aren’t you and Tom talking much today?”

To which she replied, “I don’t know.”

Aaron carried on pushing and finally coaxed it out of her that she was still upset with Tom for calling her both thick and stupid.

She said, “If that’s what he thinks, that’s what he thinks. I can’t change his opinion.”

Aaron went on to tell her that he doesn’t believe that that’s what Tom thinks at all, and that it was more than likely just an offhand comment, not meant to be taken literally.

Alex wasn’t convinced, however, her problems with Tom were put to one side when it became clear that the tension over Present-gate was showing no sign of a let up.

In a bid to clear the air, Jay approached Aaron to talk it through, after the pair had not spoken to each other since the incident happened…

While Aaron was in the garden, Jay went out to talk to him and asked Aaron if he was going to continue to make the whole house feel down by his constant sulking. Aaron said he hadn’t intended to bring the housemates down, but he added that he thought what Jay and Louise did over buying gifts for Tom and Alex was “sly.”

A frustrated Jay went back inside and told the other housemates that he’d tried, but Aaron wasn’t for backing down and just agreeing to disagree, at which point, Aaron walked in, which was pretty uncomfortable for everyone.

Here are a couple of clips of the Present-gate aftermath…

However, by the time afternoon rolled around, BB had a surprise for the housemates, which cheered them all up!

Celeb hair stylist Lee Stafford came into the house the spruce up everybody’s ‘do, resulting in them all looking a good deal better!

And then, there was more pampering while the housemates swanned about in robes supplied by BB, and to lighten the mood yet more, a cake fight ensued, with everyone getting in on the confectionery action.

But they soon had to get the cake off their faces as BB had ordered a glamorous photo shoot for the finalists.

Here’s a clip of how they got on…

So, with voting well and truly open to vote for the winner, who’s going to leave on Thursday during the surprise live eviction?

I reckon Aaron will go, and Alex will win!

Let me know what you think.

More BB news soon!

Plus latest task news and clips – see who won what!

Yesterday, Jay McKray revealed to his fellow housemates that he once slept with a Thai ‘ladyboy’ but only found out that she used to be a man after they’d had sex!

As the housemates roared with laughter, Jay explained that the incident happened when he went to Bangkok, quite literally it would seem.

Louise started off the story when she asked, “When you went to Thailand did you ever go with a ladyboy?”

He replied, “Aye! There are some fit ones. But I didn’t know they were ladyboys until after we did it. She’d had the op.”

Laughing, Louise then said, “I went to see ladyboys once and as I got out of the car before I went in this guy shouted that I was one of the stars from the show!

“But when I went in to see the show I could not believe it. They look amazing! I took it as a compliment!”

Earlier in the day, before Jay’s admission, the housemates were quite subdued after the party and the ensuing row, and talk turned to bread… as you do.

When it was revealed that there was only brown bread left, Tom said, “”ho buys wholemeal bread?” to which Aaron replied, “I do, but mainly the seeded loaves.”

Then later, Jay, Louise and Alex joined the the debate on the virtues of wholemeal as opposed to white bread, and a horrified Alex turned down a bacon sandwich when she found out it would be on brown bread.

But no sooner had the whole bread-gate died down than BB announced a new task, which would see the housemates pitting their wits against an obstacle course, clowns, and a gorilla.

For the task, the housemates had to make their way through the course wearing different coloured balloons. Inside the balloons were prizes, and if a balloon popped, the housemate would lose that prize that was inside it.

The course was made up as follows…

Holly Bush of Horror – housemates must walk through a short prickly bush maze.

Timber of Terror – housemates must quickly walk along a log to the end, while two evil clowns will be protecting their territory throwing small cacti at the HM’s balloons.

Wrecking Balls of Ruin – housemates must carefully walk through two rows of spiky wrecking balls.

Monkey Bars of Mayhem – housemates must swing across monkey bars, trying to avoid the gorilla armed with a sharp banana, trying to pop their balloons.

Cargo Net of Carnage – housemates must lift and cautiously crawl underneath a net scattered with rose thorns.

No Strings Attached – At the end of the course housemates must unwrap their personalised balloon, to signify they have finished the course. No other balloon must be unwrapped.

Penalties were added onto the housemates completion time if they didn’t complete obstacles properly.

At the end of the course, received the prizes that remained in their inflated balloons.

Here’s a clip of the task and who won what…

And here’s Alex with her slave, Aaron…

We’re sooo close to the final now. Who do you want to see win the show? My vote’s going to Alex!

More BB news soon!

Plus birthday party day brings new task

Yesterday, the housemates were woken by BB playing hit dance tune Macarena into the house, which was just the first of a bunch of treats for Tom and Alex’s joint birthday celebrations…

Their birthday party was incorporated into a task, and for the first part of it, Tom and Alex had to jump up onto a stage that was in the living room as dance the Macarena every time BB played the song.

Unsurprisingly, Tom and Alex loved the challenge and passed with flying colours…

But next up was birthday cake making, but with a twist, of course! First, the housemates had to eat all the ingredients for the cake one by one.

They included…

Flour

Eggs

Sugar

Butter

Baking powder

Chocolate icing

And they had to eat one birthday candle. Eugh!

But inbetween tasks, Tom and Louise discussed the fact that they’d all made it into the final week on BB. But of course, they don’t know there’s going to be one more eviction before Friday’s final.

However, Louise said, “We did well to get this far didn’t we?

“Remember when we came in and we walked down the stairs?

“I remember when I first met Tom and I thought, here we go, one of them.”

Alex then asked Louise what her first impressions of her had been, to which Louise replied, “I didn’t think you were a typical blonde. You know you say you’re a typical blonde.

“You were quiet; you didn’t seem very friendly. I didn’t know what to think. In the first few days, I just didn’t speak to you much.”

But there wasn’t that much time for chit chat as BB soon announced that Tom and Alex’s joint party was about to get underway, but little did anyone know that it was all going to turn rather sour when a row kicked off…

But first, here’s a clip of Tom and Alex being pressies… you’ll see…

Back to the row, and it began when it was revealed that Louise and Jay had asked Big Brother to take £500 each of their prize money to buy Alex a pair of designer shoes, and Tom a very expensive watch.

As soon as the presents were revealed, Aaron accused Jay and Louise of having given the generous presents to win over the public ahead of the final. And not unreasonably, Jay and Louise didn’t take kindly to that accusation at all.

Tom and Alex were of course delighted with their gifts, and Tom said this was, “the best birthday ever”, but even as he and Alex were still checking out their pressies, the tension grew unbearable between Jay and Aaron.

However, for the sake of the party, Jay agreed that he would say nothing at the time, but later, he vowed to never speak to Aaron again, and even changed the names around on the prize winner board that appeared in the house yesterday.

Here are a few clips of the simmering tensions…

What do you think? Was this nothing more than a very kind gesture from Jay and Louise, or was it for the cameras, as Aaron suspects?

More BB news soon!

And housemates bake a cake to cheer Aaron up!

On Friday night, Big Brother revealed to the housemates that this year’s winner wouldn’t receive the whole prize money of £100,000, and that they would in fact only be guaranteed £50,000.

They were then told that the rest of the money – £50,000 – was to be divided between the five remaining housemates, but of course, they knew it wasn’t going to be as simple as £10,000 each…

And it wasn’t. Yesterday, BB told the housemates that the money had been divided into £30,000, £15,000, £4,000, £990 and £10. They were then told that they must decide how that money would be split.

So, after a short discussion, all agreed that the fairest way would be to draw names and corresponding amounts out of a hat.

That resulted in £30,000 for Alex, £15,000 for Jay, £4,000 for Louise, £990 for Aaron, and £10 for Tom. However, the housemates were also told that they had until 5pm yesterday to change their minds and divide the money up some other way, if they chose to.

Watch the highlights show – or call back here – to find out what they did in the end. In the meantime, here’s a clip of BB announcing how the money would be split.

In other news, since Faye left on Friday, Aaron’s been in a very introspective mood, and has – of course – moped about a good deal, barely speaking to anyone.

He’s made frequent trips to the diary room to talk to Big Brother about Faye, and about his fellow housemates, who he clearly feels completely alienated from, despite the fact they’re all doing their best to include him in everything.

But yesterday, his down mood became infectious, and everyone was quiet, even Tom and Alex…

So, Jay decided it was time for radical action and he and Alex decided to air their own impromptu cooking show while baking a cake to cheer Aaron up.

Jay oversaw things, announcing for the cameras, “Right guys, what I’ve done is added four eggs and s***tload of sugar.”

Co-presenter Alex then added, “I love sugar, it tastes so sweet”.

However, as per her last attempt at cake baking, she revealed, “Oh, bit of egg shell. It’s ok, I love the crunch”.

Maybe Alex and Jay should stick to their day jobs when they leave, because I doubt Jamie Oliver’s shi**ing himself.

Our final look at house news is that BB gave the campers a task yesterday which was entitled, ‘Pass the Dare.’

Housemates were told that when the music started, they had to pass the parcel around the group in a clockwise direction.

When the music stopped, the whoever had the parcel had to open one layer of paper. Each piece of paper was either a dare or a prize, or both.

Here’s how Alex got on being the first to open a layer of paper…

And here’s Aaron’s effort…

Aces!

Also, housemates share sparklers, and worry about Aaron

It was a jam packed day in the BB house yesterday, what with everyone getting ready for the eviction and the mystery of the missing prize money. More about that in a moment…

But first, last night, Faye Palmer was evicted and that meant of course that Louise Cliffe was saved. Faye got boos from the crowd who chanted “Get Faye out” while Louise received cheers and whistles.

She later went to the diary room to try to explain how she felt at the reception from the public, but she couldn’t stop giggling long enough to say. Safe to assume then that she was happy!

But of course, Aaron wasn’t a happy bunny… or was he?

Well, that’s perhaps a bit cruel, but he certainly wasn’t as cut up about Faye leaving as he was when best bud Harry left. Then, he openly wept, whereas when Faye went, he just looked a bit glum.

But later on in the evening, he took himself off to bed, which made the remaining housemates worried for him.

Here’s a clip of Faye’s leaving message to the house, followed by the housemates checking up on Aaron to see if he was ok…

On now to the prize money twist, and as you may have seen on last night’s show, the housemates were puzzled when the money went missing from the case overnight.

Yesterday morning, the first person to notice the missing money was Aaron, who jokingly told the other housemates, “Check Alex’s pockets. The money has gone”.

However, Louise wasn’t bothered, saying, “Who cares if the money’s gone?”

But it did spark off lots of theories, with Aaron convinced that himself that it was part of a task. He said, “I love crime investigation”.

But Faye’s conclusion was, “It’s probably for security reasons, because the doors are opening tonight.”

They were of course all wrong, and here’s the dealio…

The total prize money of £100,000 will be split in half. The winner of this year’s Big Brother will take £50,000, with the remainder being split between the final five.

But of course, it’s not as easy as £10,000 each, and here’s how BB has split the money, which the housemates will find out today…

The split amounts are as follows: 30k, £15k, £4k, £990 and £10.

A board displaying all the information they need to know will go up in the house today, and they will have to decide who gets which amount.

Speculation was of course rife in the house as to how the twist was going to work, so to take their minds off it for a while, BB supplied the housemates with some sparklers to light up in the garden.

Tom and Alex were delighted with them, getting busy waving them around right away, but Aaron was a bit miffed that they weren’t given any fireworks.

He said, “I thought they were going to give us indoor fireworks.”

Jay added, “I know, we’re adults; we know what we’re doing.”

The frosted flake fight incident begs to differ Jay m’boy!

How would you like to see the £50,000 split?

More BB news soon!

Plus ‘Love Story’ task – see clips! And Faye and Louise get even closer

Yesterday, Louise Cliffe told Jay McKray that if she avoided eviction this Friday, she’d marry him!

In a plea to viewers, Louise begged to be saved this week, saying that she couldn’t bear to be separated from Jay, and it was then that she promised she’d marry him if she stays.

The Daily Star reports that Louise said of Jay, “I actually could marry him. He is definitely marriage material.

“I don’t want to leave him in here on Friday. I love Jay to bits.

“He has a lovely arse and he’s dead muscley.”

And in celebration of the house romances that are going on – albeit that Faye and Aaron’s is more on-off than your average tap – BB gave the housemates a Love Story task yesterday.

For the task, the housemates had to perform three different love stories in three different styles. They were provided with a props box full of things to help them make their stories, and performed in the following pairs:

Aaron & Alex told Louise & Jay’s love story in the style of Musical Theatre

Faye & Jay told Alex & Tom’s love story in the style of a Rap

Louise & Tom told Aaron & Faye’s love story in the style of a Soap Opera

If the housemates completed the task to Big Brother’s satisfaction – which they did – they were to be rewarded with a luxurious love-themed party.

Here are some clips from the task…

Our final look at house news is that since learning they’re both facing eviction this week, Faye and Louise are becoming closer by the day, and sharing regular heart to heart chats.

Yesterday, Louise went to talk to Faye – who was sitting alone and looking fairly fed up – to see if she was ok after her various spats with Aaron.

Faye assured Louise she was in fact fine, and the pair then began – yet again – to discuss how much Jay likes Lou.

Later, they agreed to be BFFs outside the house, and each promised the other that there are no hard feelings over their nominations this week.

Who do you think will go on Friday?

I think it’ll be Faye!

More BB news soon!

Plus housemates get egg roulette task, and Jay’s been creative again!

Both Faye Palmer and Louise Cliffe are furious with Aaron for altering the group’s plan for this week’s nominations, which meant that instead of each getting two votes each, and therefore all facing the public vote, Aaron changed his mind and voted instead for who he wanted to see evicted.

Not unreasonably, that left Faye and Louise pretty angry with Aaron, and Louise’s fella Jay wasn’t any too pleased either.

And it seems Aaron made things ten times worse by saying that he wanted to avoid Alex being up for eviction.

The Daily Star states that Faye told him, “You’ve really disappointed me. We were supposed to work together.

“Now I am up for eviction and am probably going to go.

“I feel really stupid. You’re safe because you went off and did your own thing.”

Aaron later said, “If I could give one person a free ticket to the final it would be Alex. I want her to win.”

Here’s a clip of Faye and Aaron talking about his nominations…

And in the following clip, Louise decides to thaw towards Aaron a tad…

However, the tensions were broken somewhat by a task from BB, which saw the housemates playing egg roulette.

The housemates were given 17 eggs in egg cups and told that 13 of them were hard boiled, while 4 were raw.

One at a time, each housemate had to chose another to egg on the forehead, with the point being that if they scored a direct hit with a raw egg, they won that round. The game went on until all 4 raw eggs had been cracked, and two winners were announced.

Those winners were Louise and Alex, and they enjoyed a slap up chicken dinner as a reward.

Here’s a clip from the task…

As well as the roast dinner, Louise and Alex were also treated to champagne and non-alcoholic cocktails, as well as a chocolate sundae for pudding.

Our final look at house news is that the ever romantic Jay has been up to his loving tricks again, this time offering Louise a variety of inventive presents…

He managed to make a bunch of flowers out of toilet rolls, and a card which read, “Louise, you’re one in a million” using sweet wrappers and a cereal box. He also gifted her some honey, fake tan and hairspray. Bless!

Louise’s response was, “Oh thank you. That’s nice… lovely.”
