Big Brother 2011

As you may have read earlier on Throng, Faye Palmer and Louise Cliffe face eviction this week as they received the most nominations from their fellow housemates.

However, this week’s nominations were done face to face after BB had the housemates dress up in Halloween gear and sit in electric chairs in the garden. Every time a housemate was nominated, they got a jolt of electricity.

Here’s a clip of the nominations…

The twist scuppered the housemates’ earlier plan to each get two nominations, which would have seen them all facing the public vote. And though they could have carried out the plan nonetheless, Aaron changed his mind and decided to just vote for who he wanted to see go.

Here’s a clip of him explaining why…

The end result was that Faye and Louise face eviction. Who do you want to see go? I think Faye will be offski on Friday!

In other news, Jay has outraged viewers when he was seen wiping his bare backside across Louise’s pillow. It’s so angered viewers that many have now said Jay doesn’t deserve to win, or even be in the final.

Joking that he was going to “take a sh*t” in her bed, he stopped short of that but did rub his bottom on her pillow. This prompted BB to call him into the diary room and take Louise’s pillow for cleaning.

When confronted about his prank, Jay said it was just a joke, adding, “I haven’t had a poo since I’ve showered. Me a**e is clean.”

Online remarks included, “That is disgusting.” Another read, “He’s like a dog marking his territory. Just gross.”

And one forum poster said, “Jay needs to be removed for what he’s done.”

What did you think about his ‘prank’?

In other house news, nominated housemates Louise and Faye sat down to console themselves with some chocolate yesterday, and talk soon turned to their romances in the house.

Faye asked Louise if she really does like Jay, and she enthusiastically nodded and said, “I stare at him like a weirdo. His face is so beautiful”.

Faye admitted she does the same with Aaron, but was somewhat less forthcoming about his attributes than Louise was about Jay.

Louise went on to say that she’s really shy around Jay, and isn’t completely sure if he truly likes her, however, yesterday, Jay made Louise another piece of romantic artwork out of cling film and card, prompting Faye to tell Louise, “Are you serious? He worships you”.

He really does seem to doesn’t he? However, as to Faye and Aaron, I for one am bored witless of the whole thing!

Faye seems to me to be very immature, and all this ‘does he like me’ stuff is rather playground, as are her reactions if he does something that she doesn’t like…

What do you think of Faye and Aaron’s on-off relationship?

More BB news soon!

Newly evicted housemate Harry Blake last night sensationally branded Aaron Allard-Morgan a fake, claiming that his relationship with Faye Palmer is nothing more than a cynical attempt to stay on the show.

Harry, who was of course Aaron’s best friend in the house, told the Daily Star, “Aaron isn’t being genuine and just does stuff for the show – I feel really sorry for Faye.

“Seeing Aaron being fake with her makes me think he can’t have much of a heart. Some people are happy to even forge a relationship to win.

“To play games in there is one thing but to ruin someone else’s experience by pretending you’re in love with them is quite another.

“Faye thinks it’s all real between them but she doesn’t realise people are ruthless in that house and will stab you in the back. It won’t last and she’ll be devastated.

“She thinks she’s found someone genuine so she’ll really struggle when she realises he’s not.”

Harry added that he thinks Aaron is desperate to win. He said, “You wonder if everything he does and says is worked out strategically to win him points with the public.

“He’s watched Big Brother every year so knows how to play the game and be liked. Having a girlfriend in the house was a box he knew he had to tick.

“It looks like he can almost control the public. He secretly really wants to win – so he’ll be really disappointed if Alex ends up beating him.”

And of Jay and Louise’s relationship, Harry claimed that they did in fact have sex in the house.

He said, “They definitely went all the way – big time. Jay almost admitted it to me in the sauna.

“He didn’t say the words but he implied it went on.”

And Harry also hit out at Jay for his general behaviour, saying, “In the real world I would have crossed the street if I met someone like him.

“Living with Jay was like living with a child.

“I’ve got two nephews who go to the toilet with the door open so it was similar to that.”

Wow, I wonder what made Harry change his opinion of Aaron so much?? Any ideas?

In other news, yesterday, the housemates were given a new task, for which they had to dress like chipmunks and sing like them too.

Each housemate took it in turns to perform a song, chipmunk styly, and the rest of the housemates had to guess what they were singing.

The songs they had to sing were…

I Think We’re Alone Now – Tiffany

Dancing In The Moonlight – Toploader

Love Machine – Girls Aloud

Wild Thing – The Troggs

More, More, More – Bananarama

Bleeding Heart – Leona Lewis

Housemates were told they would win a ‘hibernation-themed’ party just for taking part, but the quality of the party would depend on how many songs they guessed correctly.

The chipmunk party scale was as follows:

Peanut Party

For less than 2 songs guessed correctly, housemates will receive:

1 x play of Chipmunk’s “Champion”

1 x bowl of peanuts

Hazel Nut Party

For 3 or 4 songs guessed correctly, housemates will receive:

2 x play of Chipmunk’s “Champion”

2 x bottles of beer

1 x bottle of wine

1 x bowl of mixed nuts

Giant Brazil Nut Party

For 5 or 6 songs guessed correctly, housemates will receive:

Cosy hibernation suits

A takeaway of housemates’ choice

A selection of soft and alcoholic drinks

A selection of popular music tracks as chosen by housemates

A selection of sweet treats

1 x bowl of mixed nuts

Here’s a clip of them dressed up as chipmunks…

And here’s the result of the task…

Aaron sang ‘Dancing in the Moonlight’ by Toploader. The housemates correctly identified the song.

Alex sang ‘Wild Thing’ by The Troggs. The housemates correctly identified the song.

Faye sang ‘I Think We’re Alone Now’ by Tiffany. The housemates correctly identified the song.

Louise sang ‘More, More, More’ by Bananarama. The housemates correctly identified the song.

Finally, Tom was over the moon to pick Leona Lewis’ ‘Bleeding Love’. The housemates correctly identified the song.

So as they correctly identified 6 of the 6 songs, they won themselves the Giant Brazil Nut Party.

They enjoyed a takeaway of their choice, a selection of soft drinks and booze as well as music, sweets and other snacks.

Sounds like it was a good party!

Last night, Harry Blake become the surprising seventh evictee from the Big Brother house.

I had been expecting Faye to go, and after hearing the crowd last night chanting, “Get Faye out”, I think she thought she was offski too!

However, Harry received the fewest votes to save, so he left the house at 11pm.

During his eviction interview with Brian Dowling, he revealed that he’d been thinking of quitting the show anyway, so he wasn’t sorry to have left.

But of course, if Jem hasn’t walked earlier in the week, Harry wouldn’t have even been up for eviction this week.

Of that, he said, “We’ve all wanted to walk. She knew the rest of us would be up.

“If you’ve got to leave that’s your choice. The fact I was up meant I could see my girlfriend sooner.

“It’s a win win situation.”

He went on to say that he’d loved his time on the show, and especially enjoyed the “pranks” such as the whole shopping list debacle when he bought 500 bananas and 1,000 bottles of food dye.

When asked if he regretted doing that, given that Jay was especially furious, Harry said, “Not one bit. I loved every second of it. [Jay] kicked up so much fuss, he said ‘I’m going to die’.

“He even made a point of forcing bananas down him in order to give himself potassium poisoning.”

After he’d gone, his goodbye message was played to the remaining housemates, and in it, he said, Alex was his favourite of the housemates.

He said, “You always have been, you always will be.”

He also told Aaron – who he’d earlier described as Big Brother’s “golden boy” – that he was his “best friend”, and he added that Faye is “a real sweetheart”.

And of Tom, Harry said he was his “new gay best friend”, and he said Jay is “an absolute cracker.” To Louise, he said, “Whatever people think I’ve said about you, it’s not true.

“I think you’re an absolute star and you will go far.”

The message had a lot of the housemates in tears, and they all said how much they’d miss Harry.

Here’s a clip of his emotional goodbye…

And although they were saved this week, Aaron and Faye were the two housemates that appeared to be hit hardest by Harry’s exit. Tom consoled Aaron, who said he had mixed feelings on the matter…

While he said being saved was “amazing”, he couldn’t believe that one of his best friends had gone. Faye was also sad about the situation, despite being saved. She was consoled by Alex, who was also in floods of tears.

However, before the eviction, the housemates were stunned when BB placed a glass case inside the picture wall which contains the £100,000 the winner will receive. They also placed a countdown cube in the wall.

Here’s a clip of the moment the housemates discovered the new addition…

The talk then turned to what everyone would do with the money, as well as general chat about finances, and Alex shocked everyone by revealing that she’d once deliberately short-changed a blind woman.

However, things once more became jolly when BB gave the housemates some alcohol.

Are you glad Harry’s gone? And if not, who would you like to have seen leave?

More BB news soon!

Plus BB gives the housemates a wrestling task!

Jemma Palmer – who is of course Faye’s sister – has told the Daily Star that she hopes the public don’t vote to save Aaron this week, and that he’ll leave tonight.

Jem, who walked out of the house two days ago, said of her sister’s relationship with Aaron, “They won’t last outside the house and I don’t want them to.

“He’s got her under his spell. He’s mentally manipulative.

“I think he will use her for a while when they leave but as soon as he realises he can’t get any press out of being with her that’ll be it, he’ll be off.

“I won’t lie, I don’t like him. I don’t think he’s good for Faye.

“He’s up for eviction and I hope he goes.

“If he does then Faye has a chance of really enjoying herself in the house without him smothering her.”

And when asked why she hated Aaron so much, Jem said, “He simply doesn’t care about her.

“She banged her nose on the bed one night and he refused to get up to help her even though she was crying that she may have broken it.

“He knows a romance gives him mileage on the show and that’s all she really is to him.”

She added that she was glad to be out of the house because it had made her feel like a “broken woman”.

Yikes! She really does detest him doesn’t she?!

In other news, BB set the housemates a sock wrestling task yesterday, which the big man said was a “test of agility, tact, sock-tugging, and looking-good-whilst-simultaneously-pawing-at-someone-else’s-feet.”

BB provided the housemates with materials to create their wrestling outfits, and to come up with wrestling names…

Louise became, ‘Kitten the Killer’, Harry was ‘The King’, Tom was ‘The Ankle Biter’, Alex became ‘Goldie’, Jay was ‘The Dark Destroyer’, and Faye used the name she uses for real wrestling bouts, ‘Darcy Steele’.

Aaron was the referee for the bouts, and was in charge of deciding who wrestled with who.

He chose Jay against Alex, Harry against Louise, and Faye against Tom.

Harry and Louise took to the ring first, with Harry coming out the victor. Jay and Alex went next, and ‘The Dark Destroyer’ Jay won.

Finally, Faye went sock-to-sock with ‘Ankle Biter’ Tom, and despite a fairly fierce battle, Tom won, much to the disgruntlement of pro-wrestler Faye!

So there we have it, Jay ‘The Dark Destroyer’, Harry ‘The King’ and Tom ‘The Ankle-Biter’ were all set to receive a reward. Tune into tomorrow night’s highlights show on Channel 5 to find out what they won.

Here’s a clip of the housemates socking it to each other… Sorry for the pun.

However, despite the fact that she lost out to Tom in the wrestle, Faye was in an unusually good mood yesterday, so perhaps Jem was right and she was in fact making Faye’s time in the house miserable!

Early on in the day yesterday, a cheery Faye announced, “I wanted to share that I’m happy for once and that I do have happy mood swings”.

And after calling her to the diary room, Big Brother quizzed Faye about her feelings over Jem’s departure, to which she replied, “It’s weird her not being here. If I get saved then that’s when it’ll hit me she’s not here.”

On the subject of tonight’s eviction, Faye said that she’s never felt as nervous about an eviction before.

She said, “This morning, even though I’m in a happy mood, masks the fact that I feel like throwing up.

“I want to be here so bad… I’m so close to the end now”.

However, the bookies have Faye as favourite to go tonight, but what do you think? Will she survive or do you want her gone?

Let us know!

Plus new task and shopping list arrives

Yesterday, Faye Palmer’s sister Jem walked out of the house, claiming she couldn’t stand living with Aaron, and couldn’t continue to watch how he treats her sister.

But on that subject, I’ve watched every episode of the highlights show on Channel 5, and I just do not understand what it is that almost everyone in the country seems to see…

Just what is it that Aaron’s done to Faye that’s so bad??

The only time I’ve seen him being odd with her was the first time she burped in his ear. Granted, it was a tad minging, and he totally overreacted, but what else has there been that’s made so many people – Jem included – say Aaron treats Faye badly?

If you know, then please let me know ‘cos it’s really puzzling me!

Anyway, back to the story, and when Jem informed the house that she was offski, not unreasonably, Faye burst into tears and begged her not to go, but Jem was adamant that she couldn’t stay a moment longer, and so it was out via the backdoor for her.

Jem said of her departure, “Me being here is changing Faye. It’s a bigger experience for her than it is for me.

“I just came here to make some friends, and I’ve made my friends so I don’t need anything more from it.”

And when asked what she had learned by being in the house, she added, “My time as a housemate has been daunting, a crazy challenge and a massive adventure of self-discovery.

“I now understand how Faye works and it explains why our relationship has been strained in the past.

“Getting me out of the house gives other people a chance to shine.

“There’s been times where I haven’t enjoyed having her here but 90% I’ve loved it. She’s my sister and best mate, but it’s been hard.”

Jem’s leaving has of course has thrown this week’s ‘Save’ voting into chaos, as Jem was up for eviction. So the show’s bosses temporarily froze the voting and began issuing refunds to anyone who’d voted for Jem.

Big Brother then revealed that Harry, Jay, Faye and Aaron would now face the chop, given they were next placed in the nominations that the housemates’ family and friends made.

The announcement angered Harry who said he was “chewed up” over the last minute change to the eviction schedule, and Aaron admitted that against Jem, he thought he would stay, but now, he’s not so sure.

He said, “I thought I had a fighting chance against Jem… but now I’m up against three massive characters”.

Who do you reckon will go? I think it will be Faye, but to be honest, I think they should have just cancelled this week’s eviction. What say you?

Onto other house news now and after Jem left, the housemates received a “cinnamon challenge” which saw the housemates being given a shot glass full of cinnamon. At the sound of the klaxon, each of them had to swallow the spice without any water or other liquids to wash it down.

Three out of the remaining seven had to successfully down the spicy shot, and as they did, they won a 90s rave party that night, which cheered them all considerably. As did receiving the shopping list soon after Jem went…

This week, they had £300 to spend, so they each chose £10 worth of items for themselves, with the remaining £230 being spent on food for everyone.

Faye and Harry chose the healthy shopping items, which included lots of veg and lots of protein, but somewhat weirdly, Faye chose to use her entire £10 on buying black pudding! Eww.

That’s it for our house round-up today, but let me know who you’re hoping goes – or who you hope stays – and if you, like me, think this week’s eviction should have just been cancelled after Jem left!

And tactical nominations ahead?

Big Brother has set the housemates a new endurance task, which sees them having to row on rowing machines in the garden.

Entitled, Row-lVT, the housemates were divided into two teams. Team Steel is made up of Harry, Faye, Jem and Tom, while Team Butch is comprised of Louise, Alex, Jay and Aaron.

The housemate that rows the longest wins a mystery prize, and the group that does the best overall wins the chance to see the audition tapes of four of their fellow housemates.

But just hours into the task, it was looking set to be handbags at dawn…

With Alex being the only member of Team ‘Butch’ left in the game, and wrestler Jem representing Team ‘Steel’, its girl power all the way!

While the two girls carried on rowing, the rest of the housemates watched them from the safety of the living room, speculating who will give up first.

Tom said that he thinks the only reason Alex would give up, is if she got hungry.

Meanwhile, Aaron and Harry decided to head to the sauna to discuss the fact Jay had told Aaron earlier that, “It would be interesting if you and Harry were up for eviction next week.”

What probably began for Jay as a mere conjecture, took over the minds of Aaron and Harry in the sauna.

The two spent the next few minutes pondering what he meant in their trunks. Then, they both agreed that Jay would nominate both of them. Aaron stated he’s convinced that neither Jem nor Faye would nominate each other but Harry didn’t agree.

Later, the boys discussed a conversation Aaron had had with Anton. According to Anton you have to nominate tactically, as in, there’s no point nominating someone just because you don’t like them, you have to think about it.

It’s going to be very interesting to see who’s up for the chop after nominations tomorrow!

More BB news soon!

Last night, Anton Murphy became the latest evictee from the house, and during his interview with host Brian Dowling, he strenuously denied that he’d bee sexist while on the show.

Despite being given numerous instances of when he had said sexist things, he countered that he has “a good heart” and that he does respect women.

Of Aaron nominating him for being sexist, Anton said, “I think that’s quite a bad judgement.

“At the end of the day some of my jokes can be crude at times, but so are Jay [McKray]‘s, so are all the lads in there.

“I’ve got a good heart, I never mean anything bad. I was raised by a really good mum. I have manners for women. I respect women.”

Anton went on to say that Aaron is “a massive game player”.

He said, “He does do some really, really bad things… he is really intelligent and I was wary of that, but he is a massive game player.

“He is obsessed with Big Brother, he knows it inside out. He is like a master.

“He beat me, he brought out the bad side of me. He’s very sneaky with his comments.

“His game plan was to fool the public by saying ‘holy mackerel’ and stuff.”

But of his BB experience overall, Anton said in his goodbye VT, “I’ve enjoyed every single moment, the ups and the downs of all of you lot.

“I love you all and I can’t wait to see you all when I’m out.”

In other news, Aaron and Faye are yet again falling out, and are no longer in a relationship. Which happens, on average, about twice a day.

It all began when Faye approached Aaron to tell him that she thinks it might be a good idea if they stop their relations in the house, so that they can start something properly in the outside world.

It stemmed from her feeling that her pursuit of him isn’t reciprocated. After listening to what Faye had to say, Aaron then confided in Harry about the conversation, saying he didn’t feel like Faye trusted him.

He also spoke to Louise and Jay about Jem, having heard that Jem had been saying negative things to Faye about him. He said he was worried that Jem was swaying Faye’s opinion of him and that things had been a lot different since she had entered the House.

Late last night, having not spoken for the majority of the day, Faye and Aaron finally sat down and spoke to each other. Faye told Aaron that she’s really insecure and finds it hard to trust people, and Aaron told her that he had been hurt before too and that he, too, has insecurities.

The two then moved to the garden and shared a blanket, chatting further about their feelings.

She said she’d had an argument with Jem over him, and Aaron said he didn’t understand what’s going through Jem’s head. Faye asked Aaron if he would talk to Jem one more time.

They then told one another that they don’t know why the other would like them, with Aaron saying that he thinks Faye is a much more attractive person than he is.

No doubt the on-off love saga will continue.

More BB news soon!

Yesterday, sisters Faye and Jem were given a task by Big Brother which involved them having to burp in Aaron’s face.

Needless to say, since he went into a mammoth sulk when Faye burped in his ear last week, he was decidedly unimpressed.

However, determined to pass their task, the competitive sisters vowed to repeatedly belch in his face. Each burp won them a glass of wine or a can of lager.

They were given one hour to complete the task, and a bunch of fizzy drinks to aid the process.

Here’s a clip from the task…

However, yesterday, Faye and Jem just couldn’t seem to get along – other than their united front burp-wise – and both threatened to leave the house.

It all began when Jem spoke to Faye about her relationship with Aaron, during which she intimated that Aaron may not be all he seems.

Faye told her, “You’re really upsetting me. Can you stop talking about it? It’s none of your business. Can you stop talking about it now?”

Jem responded with “No, because I’ll always want to look after you because you’re my sister. You’re being silly.”

Faye went onto say “Why am I being silly? Because I really like a guy? You’ve just told me that everyone in there (in the house) says I’ve been acting like a fool in the House.”

Jem then told Faye that she wasn’t acting like a fool, but she’d be a fool to get involved with Aaron because he plays games.

The conversation ended with Faye telling Jem that she was being “spiteful and nasty.”

The two then ignored each other for ages, but eventually they spoke, and expressed that they’re not feeling happy in their surroundings. Tension between the sisters has always been quite high, and during their after-row chat, Jem said she feels like she’s in the middle of her sister and the guy she likes.

Before long, both sisters said they’d had enough of the house and wanted to leave. After making the declaration, Jem took herself off to the bedroom for a chat with Tom.

She told him that she had upset Faye to the point where Faye said she didn’t want to be in the house anymore. She also told him how Faye had called her spiteful for telling her that she didn’t want Faye to get involved with Aaron because she’ll get hurt.

Tom consoled Jem by saying that she was simply doing her sisterly duty.

Here are a couple of clips from Faye and Jem’s various chats yesterday…

However, as Jem is the favourite to get the boot tonight, it’ll be interesting to see how Faye reacts if her sister does leave.

Who do you want to see gone tonight?

Plus Supernatural activities abound in the house!

This year’s Celebrity Big Brother winner Paddy Doherty will go back into the house tonight as part of a celeb-studded stunt being pulled by the show’s bosses.

The Daily Star reports that tonight, a premiere screening of Paranormal Activity 3 is to take place at Elstree TV Studios, which is of course the home of the BB compound.

A red carpet will roll out in front of the BB house, and run right through it, so all the stars attending the screening will walk through the house.

The paper adds, “Other guests who will also walk the red carpet include BB beauty Imogen Thomas, 28, Celebrity Big Brother stars Michelle Heaton, 31, and Dane Bowers, 31, Kate Price’s pals Gary Cockerill, 41, and Phill Turner, 42, and BBBOTS fashion guru Lauren Harries, 33.”

The stunt is all part of BB’s Supernatural Week, which is seeing the housemates on the receiving end of ghostly shocks…

A lot of those shocks are coming from Jay and Anton, who are of course in the Crypt, unbeknownst to the rest of the house. From their vantage point, they can see and hear everything the housemates get up to, and some of it hasn’t impressed the Crypt dwellers at all.

For instance, Harry and Aaron annoyed Jay when they said that they just “switch off” whenever Louise speaks.

However, the main thing on Jay and Anton’s minds is the fact that if they can successfully pull off a series of haunting challenges, they’ll be safe from eviction this week.

But if they don’t, they still face the boot on Friday.

Inside the house, the Supernatural Week activities are in full swing now – as part of their shopping task this week – and housemates have been told that they must not scream more than three times. If they do, they’ve lost the luxury budget.

The challenge for Anton and Jay is to choose what pranks are played on the housemates. The list of pranks so far include a shower running with red water, a skeleton appearing in a mirror, a monster’s hand coming out of a hatch and a demon in the diary room.

Other potential pranks include spider webs in the halls, dead bodies in the hallway that will grab the housemates’ legs, a haunting in the store room and a ghost of a little girl being seen around the house.

Yesterday, Big Brother lured Faye in to the path of the ghost by calling her to the diary room. She instantly feared that it would be part of the task, but braved it all the same.

Walking timidly to the door, she opened the entrance to the hallway to find the girl, who looked at Faye, before quickly running in to the diary room.

As Faye stood wondering whether to follow her, Big Brother played the sound of a little girl laughing, as Alex, Harry, Aaron and Jem tried to tell her to come back in to the living room.

Visibly scared, she looked in to the pitch black room and said “I really do not want to go in there” and in fairness, neither would we!

However, the brave wrestler went in anyway and managed not to scream, thinking that she had helped pass this week’s task.

More BB news soon!

Plus silent protest doesn’t move BB at all!

As you may have read earlier here on Throng, Jay and Anton face eviction this week, and Big Brother tricked the housemates into believing the pair left last night.

But in fact, they were whisked off to a secret room called The Crypt, where they were told they must live like “ghosts.”

So what does this twist mean? Well, basically, it means that as Halloween approaches, Jay and Anton will frighten their fellow housemates by haunting the house!

In scenes that will replicate scary bits from classic horrors such as Paranormal Activity, we can expect lots of night time frights for the housemates. I cannot wait!

But while pair settled into their Crypt, the group in the main house were played fake goodbye messages from the lads, and as far as they’re aware, Jay and Anton are gone…

However, a few of them are suspicious that there’s something going on, but will they ever figure it out?

Here’s a clip of the boys finding out about their secret mission…

Overnight, Jay and Anton have been spending their time in the Crypt indulging in a bit of housemate voyeurism.

Unbeknown to the rest of the House, the Wolfpack members have been watching their every move via a TV screen and headset, watching and listening in to what they say and do when they are not around. But the question is, what have they found out since they’ve been ‘evicted’?

Jay was initially worried about Louise, who seemed really upset at the thought that the duo had actually been evicted. However, his mind quickly changed to how pretty she looked on the TV screen, ahhh….

Anton, meanwhile, has remarked how he’s disappointed by Harry’s reaction, expecting him to be more upset than he’s showing. However, he’s obviously forgotten that Harry nominated him last week, which may go some way to explain why he’s not that upset at present.

The real revelation came from a conversation between Harry and Aaron, who shocked Jay and Anton by bitching about Louise, saying they switch off when she speaks. They then went on to talk about Anton, with Harry impersonating they way he talks about nomination, “One thing annoyed me about Anton was his clicking…’nominate you and you and you, boof boof boof, almost like he’s firing a gun’”.

In other news, before the big twist, the housemates decided to stage a silent – literally – protest about the lack of food.

They managed to stay quiet for an hour and eight minutes, but Tom was the first housemate to crack under the strain, saying, “We’re not going to get anything!”

Louise responded by saying “Have you spoke?”

Jem then said, “Silence is entertaining.”

Erm, no, no it isn’t…
