Plus BGT judge Amanda Holden to renew wedding vows & Big Brother winner Luke to spend prize money on penis construction surgery!

We’ll begin today’s round up of all things reality TV with X Factor judge Louis Walsh, who, at a press conference ahead of the show’s return to our screens on Saturday, has said that the show has “suffered” because Simon Cowell hasn’t been a judge this year or last year.

He said, “It’s suffered without Simon — it’s like the Rolling Stones without Mick Jagger.

“Last year Tulisa and Gary were thrown in at the deep end and we struggled a bit but this year they’re stronger.”

Louis, who’s in his ninth year as a judge on The X Factor, hinted that he may bow out of the show in the near future.

He told Radio Times, “My ambition’s to get to 10 years. After that we’ll see.

“I don’t want to be like Brucie. I’ll know when it’s time to give it up.”

Oo claws back in Louis!

Today is Day 65 in the Big Brother house, and it’s been a sedate one, with not a great deal happening…

But there, the housemates are winding down now before the final, which will of course be fraught with excitement and angst.

However, talk today turned to dogs, of the four legged kind, which was a conversation that Ashleigh kicked off by revealing that she was missing her canine companions.

She also mentioned that when – or if, and it’s a big if if you ask me – she and Luke S move in together, she wants several dogs to keep them company.

Sara added that she wants to get a big dog, but she’d really like a Pomeranian, which is – in her words – “a small dog.” Erm, righeo. But whatever size her dog, she wants to call her Luella. Super… Continue reading »

Yesterday, the Big Brother housemates were given a shopping task, but to be honest, it was more to give the HMs something to do – and BB something to film – than to buy shopping, because of course, it’s the last few days now, so nobody really cared much about the outcome!

However, in brief, five of the housemates had to become museum exhibits – that is, they had to strike a pose on a podium and keep the pose without moving or speaking – while two became the security guards who would report on any movement etc.

Sara and Scott were appointed guards, so Luke A, Adam, Deana, Ashleigh and Luke S were exhibits.

But what Scott and Sara didn’t know is that each time they left the ‘museum’ having inspected the exhibits, BB froze the cameras so to Scott and Sara, who were watching on a monitor in the garden, the exhibits did an amazing job of keeping still! Continue reading »

It’s been revealed today that Channel 5 are opening up the famous Big Brother house to viewers who want to hold their own parties in the compound!

The show’s set is of course sited at Elstree TV Studios in Borehamwood, Herts, and it will be available to hire in September, which is after the next series of Celebrity Big Brother – which launches on August 15th and runs for 23 days – has ended.

The Daily Star reports, “Anyone who wants to hire the house, which can hold up to 100 people, can apply to stage their own bashes or mini Big Brother events.”

Chillisauce corporate events boss Matt Curran said, “We are very excited to announce the launch of this once-in-a- lifetime experience…” Continue reading »

The very last nominations of Big Brother 2012 have been made, and facing eviction on Friday are, Adam, Ashleigh, Deana and Scott!

And of course, it’s going to be a double eviction, so two of the above will be out at the eleventh hour, leaving just five housemates left, all of whom will of course be hoping to land the £50,000 prize money.

Who do you want to see leave on Friday? Continue reading »

As Big Brother fans will know, last night, after Becky was evicted – hoorah! – The White Room task reached its finale with a huge twist…

Namely, if either Conor or Luke S pressed their buzzers within a minute, as the money on screen rose to £50k, the person who pressed first had won the cash but had to leave the house immediately.

Conor, very wisely in my opinion, pressed the button and sure enough, he left the BB compound £50k richer. And I was really happy for him…

But his fellow White Room housemate Luke S was most certainly not, and in a post-match replay later on in the main house, a fuming Luke S – after having immediately had a go at Adam, saying “What the f*** are you laughing at?!” – said that Conor had told him he wanted that place in the final.

Apparently, ahead of last night’s twist – and though they didn’t know what it was going to be, and were only aware that one of them would leave The White Room that night – the boys discussed who wanted the place in the final more, and it seems Conor and Luke S agreed that Conor would get the guaranteed pass to the final so that his family didn’t have to keep coming over from Ireland… Continue reading »

Tonight’s live edition of Big Brother is going to be the most exciting of the series to date, because in addition to the usual eviction – which will see one of the nominated housemates Ashleigh, Becky, Luke A or Deana leave – there’s a big twist in the finale of The White Room task.

As fans will know, only Luke S and Conor remain in The White Room since Sara opted to leave the room on Day 2 of the challenge, and tonight, one of the boys will be offered £50,000 of the £100,000 prize money, but on the condition that if they take the cash, they must leave the house immediately.

If one of them does take the money and go, the other will then automatically earn a place in the final.

However, if neither of them opt to take the money, then they will have to battle it out in a special task to win that free pass to the final on August 13th… Continue reading »

Plus Big Brother HM Scott Mason warned for more Deana insults, and Dannii Minogue’s ex Kris dating model

We’ll begin today’s round up of reality TV news with a report in the Sun that states that X Factor judge Tulisa ended her holiday in Hawaii early because her cousin – and former N-Dubz band mate – Dappy turned up unexpectedly.

The pair have had a frosty relationship ever since Tulisa took up her role on The X Factor, which Dappy has often criticised.

A source said to close to Tulisa said, “Tulisa went away to escape all the stress going on back home and had no idea Dappy was coming.

“When she found out he was staying at her resort she got upset and decided to leave.”

As to their rows, one was prompted when Dappy hit out at former X Factor winners Joe McElderry and Alexandra Burke in his song I’m Coming (Tarzan Part 2).

On Twitter, Tulisa said, “Stop cussin peeps out 4 ratins! Talent speaks 4 itself u little sh**.”

Dappy hit back, “Now why would you say that. I can’t believe you T… Why would you say this about my work… Just so you can keep cool with your XF job.”

Personally, I never could stand Dappy, and until Tulisa proved she’s a nice person on X Factor, I used to think that the joke “What has two tw**s and a c***? N-Dubz…” was spot on!

Moving swiftly on, and news from the Big Brother compound is that Scott Mason has yet again been warned about his behaviour towards fellow housemate Deana Uppal… Continue reading »

Plus, double eviction on Friday & Scott Mason prompts fears over suicide remark

It’s been a busy weekend in the BB house and it’s going to be an even busier week, because not only is it nominations day today – more on that in a moment – but in addition, there’s to be a double eviction on Friday and the mysterious White Room task will begin!

However, there’s altogether more serious news from the house in that Scott Mason – who’s previously caused concern by drinking aftershave during a booze ban – told his fellow housemates that if his Gran dies while he’s in the house, he would commit suicide.

He said, “She had better still be alive. If she’s died then I’ll commit suicide.”

The Daily Star adds, “Housemates were horrified by his comments but Scott insisted: ‘I’d want to, though. She’s like my best friend.’”

You may recall that the show’s producers brought in a psychiatrist to speak to former housemate Shievonne Robinson when she made a similar remark in the week before she was evicted… Continue reading »

Plus X Factor’s Tulisa faces enormous legal bills, and TOWIE stars threaten to walk over pay dispute

We’ll begin today’s reality TV news with a report in the Daily Star that Big Brother housemate Scott Mason could face being thrown out of the house after being given an official warning from the show’s producers after he threatened fellow housemate Becky Hannon with violence.

The paper report that incident happened when Becky accused a drunk Scott of being an alcoholic.

He responded with fury, telling her, “I’d come over there and slap you if I was.”

He then launched into a major rant, yelling, “I find people annoying. I’ve never heard so much sh*t in all my life.

“Just f*** off you tw*ts.”

When Becky told him he could be given a warning from BB over what he’s said, he replied, “It’s the truth, bitch. Just kick me out of the house.”

Scott was immediately called to the Diary Room and reminded about the rules regarding behaviour in the house… Continue reading »
