ITV has confirmed its will be revamping the classic gameshow Catchphrase.

The broadcaster confirmed that eight 45-minute episodes have been commissioned for Saturday nights with Stephen Mulhern serving as host.

Savage turns down Celebrity Big Brother

Former footballer Robbie Savage has turned down an offer to appear on Celebrity Big Brother. Savage said “I was offered Big Brother, yeah. But I said no. Big Brother to me is just desperate. Even if I was skint I still wouldn’t do it. It’s not me at all.”

Classic gameshow Catchphrase may be making a return to ITV.

Broadcast reports that ITV is in talks with the owner of the Catchphrase format over a possible pilot.

The show last screened over a decade ago.
