Shilpa Shetty and Jady Goody are up for the next eviction on Celebrity BB. Jade is the favourite to get voted off after being labelled a racist when she told Shilpa to “Go back to the slums” in an earlier episode.

In the latest development of the racism issue on Celebrity BB, Shilpa Shetty has come forward and publicly denied Jade as a racist. Since the episode screened, Carphone Warehouse has withdrawn sponsorship, 21 MPS have signed protests, and at least 33,000 public complaints have been made.

Yep another celebrity has walked off the show: Leo Sayer (pop singer fro mthe 1970s). He is the third to leave after Donny Tourette and Ken Russell.

In a surprise eviction, Jackiey, Jade Goody’s mother, has been voted out of the Big Brother house. She had been up for eviction along with Jade and Jade’s boyfriend Jack Tweedy. The Goody clan have been the centre of disputes since the show began.

Ratings have dropped more than half for Celebrity Big Brother since the start of the show. While Channel 4 said this was consistent with last year’s series, some viewers have complained that Jade Goody and her family are the reason for the lack of interest. Her arrival caused two of the contestants, Donny Tourette and Ken Russell to quit.

Ken Russell is the second celebrity to leave the Big Brother house. The 79 year old film director quit after having an argument with another housemate, Jade Goody. He made up with her, had a final cup of tea, and then made his exit through the diary room.

Michael Jackson’s brother Jermaine is one of the eleven celebrities to contest in the fifth series of the show in the UK. Another contestant is the former Miss Great Britain Danielle Lloyd who lost her crown after it was discovered she was in a relationship with one of the judges!
