While Diane launches her West Indian-inspired menu with rum punch, Terry’s evening kicks off with an undrinkable cocktail and continues with a string of questionable jokes and dubious conversation topics. After a solid first half performance at home serving an Oriental-style menu, former Miss England Danielle takes her eye off the ball and gets in a panic over her cr�me brul�es. Finally dance diva Wayne hot foots it into the kitchen to try and cook for the first time in 20 years.

In this all-new celebrity special, four famous faces compete to prove their worth as the best dinner party host. Taking part are the country’s most (and, possibly, only) famous magician’s assistant ‘the lovely’ Debbie McGee; former MP, and aspiring stand-up comic, Lembit Opik; radio presenter and former 11 O’Clock Show and RI:SE host Iain Lee; and Essex glamour model and party girl Jodie Marsh. A new series of Come Dine With Me begins on Friday.

This brand new celebrity special features former model Janice Dickinson, playboy Calum Best, TV presenter Jeff Brazier and Page 3 popstress Sam Fox. Jeff is first to host and Janice flirts with Calum, calling him Gollum. On day two strong words are exchanged between Janice and Calum over the mushrooms in her pasta, before Janice has a go at Sam about Page 3 modelling. On day three Janice has a menopausal hot flush and has to take refuge in Calum’s freezer. And then on Sam’s night Janice is surprised to discover that the host’s partner is also a woman!

The WAGs in question are Chantelle Tagoe, fianc�e of Emile Heskey; Jude Cisse, wife of France’s Djibril; Jessica Lawlor, partner of Stephen Ireland; and Nicola T, fianc�e of Simon Walton of, ahem, Crewe Alexandra. They all play host in their homes, which feature, among other things, one of the UK’s largest private fish tanks, a gigantic games room, the obligatory Jacuzzi, and an open-plan toilet with no door. The ladies also reveal which of their men likes more than just a cuddle to relax him before a game, which WAG was proposed to by text message, and who met her beau in a strip club.

Strike It Lucky host and tabloid favourite Michael Barrymore takes on Anthea Redfern from The Generation Game , Wheel of Fortune babe Jenny Powell, and the man who was once synonymous with the word mullet, Funhouse front man Pat Sharp.

Michael Barrymore is reportedly set to host a special episode of Come Dine With Me.

The TV presenter will go up against fellow gameshow personalities in the one-off Channel 4 special.

58-year-old Barrymore will entertain Pat Sharp (Fun House), Jenny Powell (Wheel of Fortune) and Anthea Redfern (The Generation game) on the show.

The special episode will screen later this month on Channel 4.
