Come Fly With Me

BBC One’s brand new, hit comedy from Matt Lucas and David Walliams, Come Fly With Me, has been recommissioned for a second series by Danny Cohen, Controller BBC One, and Cheryl Taylor, Controller, Comedy Commissioning.

Set in a busy airport, the six-part series currently airing on BBC One and filmed in “mockumentary” style, features many characters, all played by Matt and David, plus special guest appearances including David Schwimmer and Rupert Grint.

Danny Cohen, Controller BBC One said: “Come Fly With Me has been a huge hit with audiences. I can’t wait to see what Matt and David will do with the second series.”

Mark Freeland, Head of in-house Comedy at the BBC: “After such a flying start on BBC One, it’s great news that Matt Lucas and David Walliams will once again be filling the check-in desks, departure lounges and cockpits with their wonderful and weird characters.”

The new series will return to BBC One, although timings are yet to be decided while Matt and David fulfil other commitments.

Come Fly With Me is a Little Britain Productions/BBC Production. Executive Producer for Little Britain Productions is Geoff Posner and Mark Freeland for BBC Productions.
