As Big Brother fans will know, last night, after Becky was evicted – hoorah! – The White Room task reached its finale with a huge twist…

Namely, if either Conor or Luke S pressed their buzzers within a minute, as the money on screen rose to £50k, the person who pressed first had won the cash but had to leave the house immediately.

Conor, very wisely in my opinion, pressed the button and sure enough, he left the BB compound £50k richer. And I was really happy for him…

But his fellow White Room housemate Luke S was most certainly not, and in a post-match replay later on in the main house, a fuming Luke S – after having immediately had a go at Adam, saying “What the f*** are you laughing at?!” – said that Conor had told him he wanted that place in the final.

Apparently, ahead of last night’s twist – and though they didn’t know what it was going to be, and were only aware that one of them would leave The White Room that night – the boys discussed who wanted the place in the final more, and it seems Conor and Luke S agreed that Conor would get the guaranteed pass to the final so that his family didn’t have to keep coming over from Ireland… Continue reading »

Yesterday was Day 59 in the Big Brother house, and with The White Room housemates, Conor and Luke S, things were looking rather bleak as boredom and hunger set in…

However, to ease the yawnfest that was their day, Luke S and Conor decided a game of gurning might be in order, as you do on a wet Wednesday in Widnes.

But understandably, the appeal wore off pretty quickly, so the lads were delighted when Big Brother announced a task…

For it, the big guy summoned Becky and Ashleigh – in the role of Conor and Luke S’ support group – to the Diary Room to give them a the chance to win some goodies for The White Room boys.

Here’s what BB’s website said of the challenge… Continue reading »

Tonight’s live edition of Big Brother is going to be the most exciting of the series to date, because in addition to the usual eviction – which will see one of the nominated housemates Ashleigh, Becky, Luke A or Deana leave – there’s a big twist in the finale of The White Room task.

As fans will know, only Luke S and Conor remain in The White Room since Sara opted to leave the room on Day 2 of the challenge, and tonight, one of the boys will be offered £50,000 of the £100,000 prize money, but on the condition that if they take the cash, they must leave the house immediately.

If one of them does take the money and go, the other will then automatically earn a place in the final.

However, if neither of them opt to take the money, then they will have to battle it out in a special task to win that free pass to the final on August 13th… Continue reading »

As we reported yesterday, Sara, Luke S and Conor were the chosen trio to enter The White Room, which is not only this week’s shopping task as it also offers one of them a free pass to the final, and as will be revealed to them later, the chance to win £25,000.

However, hours into the task, Sara’s already looking like she might bail, and to do so, all she has to do is press the red button in the room and BB will open the door for her to leave.

We will of course just have to wait and see if she does choose to go, but back to the news and the first task facing The White Room three was down to Luke S which saw him having to pour the contents of several bottles of milk into a large tube. The more successful he was, the greater the reward would be.

The next task was The White Form task, which involved six pieces of trivia from the questionnaires housemates filled in before they entered the House.

As Conor was chosen to carry out this task, he had to correctly guess which HM the trivia applied to… Continue reading »

At 2.47pm today, which is Day 57, Big Brother called the remaining nine housemates into the living room to fill them in on why exactly there is a big white building in the garden.

The White Room task is a four day challenge which is specifically designed to divide the house and to give one housemate a free pass to the final.

The four housemates with the least nominations to date – that’s Conor, Luke S, Scott and Sara – had just one minute to pick three of them to enter The white Room to play for a ‘money can’t buy prize’.

Scott dropped out straight away saying, “I really don’t like tasks. I don’t mind at all not doing it.”

So, Big Brother has given Sara, Conor and Luke S white suits to wear, and so far, both Conor and Luke S are determined to win, but will Sara manage to get one over on this competitive pair? Continue reading »

Yesterday was Day 53 in the BB house, and of course, best news ever was that Caroline left, looking like one of those little troll thingys that live on the end of pencils.

I’m so glad we won’t have to see her or hear her again for the duration of the series, because her “it’s hilarrriousss” and constant guffawing like a braying donkey was driving me insane!

However, because she didn’t order anything but chocolate related shopping, the fallout continued last night as the hungry housemates – and the smokers – turned on her in various ways.

Before Caroline left, Sara and Becky had a good old bitch about the food situation with Sara saying, “No one is going to eat all of that. Does chocolate go off?”

Becky said it didn’t but she agreed that Caroline’s stunt over the shopping had been stupid.

She said, “If she wanted to upset Luke A and Adam, why didn’t she just not get their cigarettes?” Continue reading »

Today is not only Day 53 in the BB house, it’s also eviction Friday, and I for one am sincerely hoping Caroline goes, because if I have to listen to that puerile horse laugh just once more, I may in fact explode.

However, as I mentioned in my earlier article here on Throng, the ‘Insiders’ group are keeping up solidarity with Caroline, pretending that her ordering £550 worth of chocolate bars was a jolly wheeze.

Luke A and the other smokers – except Ashleigh who says she finds it “funny” that nobody has any cigarettes, while quietly climbing the walls as nicotine withdrawals kick in – blanked Caroline, who didn’t help herself by saying of the shopping budget fiasco, “How is this not the ideal situation?”

Today is Day 41 in the Big Brother house, and on waking, the housemates discovered that they’d been transported back to the Wild West, where men were men and so were the women.

Decked out with cacti, straw bales and gold mining equipment, this week’s shopping task has a very special prize attached – in addition to a luxury shopping budget – and it is immunity from nominations this week.

Here’s how it’s going to work…

Conor made himself Sheriff when he volunteered to go to the Diary Room first, and he subsequently chose Caroline to be his Sheriff. Unlucky housemates.

Between them, they’ll oversee tasks for the two days of the challenge, and their own first task was to divide the housemates into three teams – The Good, The Bad and The Really Ugly. Only one of these teams can triumph in winning immunity this week, though they can – and will have to – nominate and this Monday, they have to nominate FACE TO FACE! Continue reading »

Today, Day 40, began in a very sedate manner, with everyone perhaps a little subdued over Shievonne’s departure, but the peace didn’t last long! More on that in a moment…

But first, soon after they woke up this morning, Adam, Lauren and Caroline discussed milk, and the lack thereof, before talking about the fact that hedgehogs drink milk, which fascinated Adam. At one point, he asked how the hedgehogs got hold of milk, perhaps imagining they had opposable thumbs, as per the epic Jog On Kitties ad for milk.

But as you can see in this clip, Lauren and Caroline explained how hedgehogs get milk, and only human thumbs are involved…

Later, feeling like he needed a change of clothes, Adam went in search of some clean ones, and when he failed to find any, he decided that recycling was the way forward, and so he sprayed some elderly trousers with deodorant to liven them up… Continue reading »

Yesterday was of course Day 39 in the Big Brother house, and for Shievonne, Friday 13th was indeed unlucky as it saw her outta there…

And to be honest, now she’s gone, and now that Conor has begun building bridges in the house by apologizing to Scott and Becky for anything he’s done that’s upset them – and suggesting they start afresh from now on – I think the Derry boy has a fair chance of winning this show.

And what a remarkable turnaround that would be; going from Britain’s most hated man to the nation’s sweetheart in a matter of weeks.

In fact, I’m so convinced he is truly in with a good chance of winning – assuming there are no more angry outbursts from him that is – I might even have a bet on it! Continue reading »
