Claire Sweeney has been signed by Five Life to co-host with Dr David Bull the Cystic Fibrosis Breathing Life Awards 2007, which honours the exceptional achievements of young adults and children who live with Cystic Fibrosis, it was announced today (MON).

This prestigious central London event, will be televised to viewers for the first time on Five Life in the spring.

Claire Sweeney said: “I’m delighted and privileged to be part of these awards. All these people have achieved so much and their stories are incredibly humbling. The winners are an example to us all

This star-studded awards show celebrates the amazing achievements of those living with Cystic Fibrosis, the UK’s most common life-threatening disease. Receiving the awards is an array of truly exceptional people, from all walks of life, who share one thing in common – they are an inspiration to others.

Celebrities will unite from the worlds of music, sport, stage and screen to honour the inspiring nominees that have shown such great courage and determination in a night packed with real-life drama.

Dr David Bull added:”This is the first time I have worked with Claire and I’m thrilled that she will be joining me on stage to present these very special Awards. I have been involved with the Breathing Life Awards for six years and the award nominees get more inspirational year on year.
