Matt Lucas and David Walliams (the creators of Little Britain) are going to be returning to BBC One with a brand spanking new comedy series set in a busy airport.

Hopefully, it won’t feature Jeremy Spake.

The show will be a six-part series and currently has the working title of Come Fly With Me.

The show will see Walliams and Lucas (the creators of Little Britain) portraying a number of new characters and the show will also feature guest appearances by other famous and funny people throughout the series.

Mark Freeland, BBC head of comedy, promised “boom time once again for dress, wig and make up suppliers in the UK”.

Come Fly With Me is currently in pre-production and will be filmed in HD for broadcast on BBC One later this year.
