She resolves to tell him the truth about her resurrection at dinner, but Fred, her guardian angel, warns her not to go or something very bad will happen.

A routine divorce is turned on its head when Jane discovers that her client’s husband had a secret mistress. Further investigation reveals that the mystery woman was not just a fling but a second wife. Jane puts the divorce proceedings on hold and encourages her client to join forces with the other woman and sue their cheating husband jointly for fraud.

Meanwhile, Jane’s boyfriend Tony and assistant Terry (Margaret Cho) team up to fight for her legal career, while the firm’s partners hope to save themselves from paying out her contract and are rooting for disbarment. Can Jane manage to juggle all this and also explain to Tony why she has never mentioned her husband?
