‘Sesame Street’ favourite Elmo concludes his new series of adventures. The show is set in a computer-animated crayon-drawn apartment, imagined by the lovable red monster. Each day Elmo takes part in a series of skits and interviews, and welcomes young viewers into his magical room.

Elmo is helped on the way by his friends Dorothy the goldfish and the Noodle family. Elmo’s adventures range from earthbound challenges to imaginary visits to strange planets. Through home videos, emails from his ‘Sesame Street’ friends and help from viewers, Elmo explores the wonderful world around him.

The subject of Elmo’s studies on Saturday is ‘Violins’. Mr Noodle shows Dorothy how to hold a violin, while Elmo has a chat with the stringed instrument and learns how it can be like a chicken! The star of the show then explores the various musical genres that feature the violin.

The last episode of the current run is ‘Mouths’ on Sunday. Elmo uses his mouth to call Mr Noodle, Dorothy learns how to whistle and Mr Fred Newman shows everybody the different sounds that can be made with the mouth.

In ‘Noses’ on Saturday, Elmo is thinking about the olfactory organ. Dorothy the goldfish asks Mr Noodle how he smells a flower, while Elmo attempts to balance a beach ball on his nose. Later, the friends sing the nose song.

Sunday’s episode is ‘Beaches’. Elmo wonders what he can do at the beach, while Dorothy asks how to spread out her beach towel. Oscar and Slimy send Elmo an email and a seagull takes Elmo’s sunhat. Dorothy imagines Elmo riding the waves at the beach.

In ‘Eyes’ on Saturday, Dorothy wants to know why she blinks, Elmo gets some mail from his friend Ernie and Mr Noodle gets confused between winking, drinking, shrinking and blinking! Elsewhere, Elmo’s friend Elizabeth goes to the eye doctor to get new glasses.

Sunday’s episode is ‘Helping’. Super Grover drops in to offer Elmo some help but ends up needing Elmo’s help instead! Mr Noodle helps Miss Noodle get dressed. Dorothy meets some people who help others at work, then imagines Elmo as a lifeguard.

In ‘Drums’ on Saturday, Elmo learns about different types of drums, including the steel drum and the bongos. Dorothy the goldfish wonders how you play the Conga drum, and Mr Noodle attempts to show her. Baby bear manages to make his own drum.

Sunday’s episode is ‘Frogs’. In a day filled with amphibious fun, Mr Noodle tries to leap like a frog, Elmo wonders where the green beasts live, a big frog visits Elmo and teaches him about camouflage and we meet the most famous frog in the pond, Jumpy Garland.
