Igam Ogam

Weekdays at 8.35am

Continuing on Five this week is the animated series following the adventures of charming cave girl Igam Ogam and her Stone Age friends. ‘Gavin and Stacey’ star Ruth Jones lends her vocal talents as the narrator and Igam’s friend, a posh blue pterodactyl called Birdie.

‘Igam Ogam’ is Jurassic fun for little ones. More active than an active volcano, more curious than a ‘Curiosaurus’, Igam Ogam is a little cave girl who faces the daily challenges of prehistoric life with invincible optimism. Just like the preschoolers watching from home, she loves nothing more than having fun and learning about the world around her. Each fantastical episode focuses on visual comedy and hilarious action sequences.

This delightful stop-motion animation series is made by the Welsh production company Calon TV and features the vocal talents of award-winning ‘Gavin and Stacey’ co-writer and star Ruth Jones. Welsh schoolgirl Sian Bradbury voices the eponymous heroine.

Monday’s episode is ‘All Gone!’. Igam Ogam is puzzled to find that the paint in the paint pools has completely disappeared.

In ‘I’m Best!’ on Tuesday, Igam Ogam thinks she is the best at everything.

On Wednesday, in ‘Again!’, the cheeky cave girl annoys her friends by making them do things over and over again!

Thursday’s episode is ‘Want to Be Big’. Igam Ogam wishes that she were bigger…

In ‘Bless You’ on Friday, Igam Ogam and Roly think there is a mocking monster at Echo Point.
