I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now
Monday 12 November 2007 10:30pm – 11:30pm on ITV2.
King of the Jungle Matt Willis and his fiancée, Emma Griffiths, present ITV2’s coverage of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!
The pair present the ITV2 nightly spin off show I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here…NOW! from Australia while Mark Durden-Smith returns to front the UK segment of the show. It’s the first time Matt and Emma have presented a TV programme together.
Matt and Emma will provide all the latest news from the camp, going behind-the-scenes and interviewing the evicted celebrities. Mark will present his section of the show from a London studio and interview the contestants’ friends and family, plus celebrity guests.
Matt said: “I’m still getting over the shock of winning last year and it’ll be awesome to go back and be a part of the ITV2 presenting team. It’s a fantastic show and I feel really lucky to be involved in it for a second year.”
Emma said: “I have been a huge fan of I’m A Celebrity since it began so I’m really excited to be presenting the ITV2 show. I can’t wait.”
Mark added: “I’m very excited to be catching my fourth dose of virulent jungle fever and looking forward to watching the erotic sparks fly between ITV2’s very own Richard and Judy, Matt and Emma.
“The studio in London will be heaving with friends and family of the victims, sorry, celebrities and I can’t wait to open the debating chamber to find out who we love, who we lust after and who we think smells the most!”
Controller of ITV2, Zai Bennett, said: “As the current King of The Jungle Matt’s insider knowledge is bound to give him an extra insight into the goings on in this year’s camp, and I’m sure teaming up to present the show with his fiancée Emma should be more fun than sleeping in a camp bed next to David Gest. And, of course, the food will be an improvement on what he ate in the final last year.”
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! returns this winter when ten celebrities face the toughest challenge of their lives – to spend over two weeks in the Australian jungle with only the creepy crawlies and each other for company.
Ant and Dec will present the award winning ITV1 show as it returns for its seventh series.
