As fans of EastEnders will of course know, tomorrow night – Friday, 22nd June – sees the wedding of the year taking place in Albert Square…

Or does it?

Well, the outcome of the wedding is being kept a very closely guarded secret in as much as we don’t yet know if Janine ends up Mrs Moon by the end of the affair, or if she remains Janine Malloy.

However, what we DO know is that little baby girl Moon/Malloy/Butcher – whichever surname the poor kid ends up with – is going to make an appearance way too soon as her mum goes into labour on her big day.

But, before the wedding even starts, there’s some shocking news in store for Michael Moon when he hears from his former lover Kat Moon that Jean Slater is going to be sectioned.

In last night’s trip to Walford, we of course saw Jean lose the plot royally when evil Michael sent an undertaker round to the Vic to arrange Stacey Slater’s funeral!

Poor Jean crumpled to the floor when the funeral director said her daughter was dead, but Big Mo immediately revealed that she is very much alive, and was on the phone about five seconds ago… Continue reading »

Plus, Jean does an about turn over Michael, Kat’s wracked with guilt and Ian Beale’s back!

This week on EastEnders, it’s the big day of Michael and Janine’s wedding, but of course nothing’s going to go right for the couple…

Things first begin to go mammaries up when Michael owns up to having taken loadsa money from Jean Slater, and as if that wasn’t enough, he gives Janine an ultimatum which is, rip up the pre-nup or we’re done and won’t get married.

However, there’s worse to come because the stress of it all brings on Janine’s labour, and though she’s rushed to hospital, the couple’s baby girl is born a few hours later, and is barely clinging to life…

As she’s in the special care baby unit, surrounded by machines and anxious medics, Janine is advised that she should give her daughter a name just in case the worst happens, so she calls her Patricia which is of course after her stepmum Pat Evans.

But as we told you last week, Michael will overturn Janine’s decision and name the baby Scarlett when he registers her birth.

However, it remains to be seen if little baby Scarlett will pull through, but what is known is that in a fit of sympathy for new dad Michael, Jean will do a surprising U-turn over how he fleeced her of her own and the Vic’s money… Continue reading »

We’ll start our round up of EastEnders spoilers with the news that when Janine gives birth to her baby girl, she’ll call her Patricia, in honour of her late step-mother Pat Evans, who was of course formerly married to Janine’s dad, Frank Bucher.

However, unbeknownst to Janine, while she’s busy dealing with the baby, new dad Michael Moon will go and register the baby’s birth, and put the name Scarlett on her birth certificate!

A show insider told the Daily Star, “The name choice may be an omen for things to come…

“With a mother like Janine, this little girl is sure to be a fighter.”

Charlie Brooks, who plays new mum Janine, is off on a six-month break from the show in August, so we might assume that things aren’t set to be plain sailing for Michael and Janine.

Another married Walford couple who are experiencing problems are Kat and Alfie Moon, because of course, Kat now knows that Roxy not only had a crush on her husband, but that she also loaned him £10,000 which Alfie subsequently lied to Kat about… Continue reading »
