Kerry Katona – The Next Chapter

Wednesday, 11 May 2011, 9:00PM – 10:00PM

This week we see Kerry adjusting to life after Dancing on Ice. Her time on the show has come to an end and with a lightened workload, her driver and good friend Carl, is no longer needed to work alongside her. It’s an emotional farewell but they’re both happy to have had the chance to reignite their old friendship – so much so that they’ve made a pact: if they are both still single when Kerry’s forty, they’ll get married!

Following four hectic months devoted to Dancing On Ice, Kerry’s finding it difficult to adapt to life away from the show, and is feeling lonely. She decides on a visit back up North, to spend time with her mum and old friends. It’s during this visit that she meets her new boyfriend Daniel.

Also in this episode, we’re with Kerry as she spends the day at Blackpool Pleasure Beach with her ex-skating partner Dan.

She then decides to throw a kids’ pool party at her new home for Peter Andre and his two children, Princess and Junior, as they have become close neighbors since the move.

And to top off another busy week, Kerry attracts more press attention on a girls’ night out with management and celebrity friends, Nicola MacLean, Danielle Brown and Amy Childs.

Wednesday, 13 April 2011, 9:00PM – 10:00PM

Because of her bankruptcy, Kerry has her last remaining asset repossessed- her home in Warrington. Mum Sue has lived there rent-free for ten years and loves it. She’s heartbroken at having to leave, despite Kerry’s management renting Sue a new home around the corner. Sue moves in to her new home but is unimpressed and tells Kerry as much. There’s a rumour that one of Sue’s friends may be selling a story about the move which triggers an argument between Kerry and her mum. The next day, Kerry calls Sue to clear the air after getting very upset when reading the story in the Sunday newspapers. Kerry feels guilty despite doing her best to keep her mum happy.

Kerry discovers that her DOI partner is twice-champion, Dan – her favourite. She’s ecstatic and can’t wait to tell the kids. But her happiness subsides when she receives a call from mum Sue who thinks she is having a nervous breakdown because she can’t settle into her new home. A weary Kerry reassures her and calms her down.

The next day Kerry discovers that her first TV appearance to promote her new show will be live on ITV1’s This Morning. She’s nervous as she had a feeling this would be the case. It will be her first live television interview since her notorious moment with Phil and Holly in 2008.

Back at home she finds Lily dancing in the bedroom to a CD. It’s a duet between Brian McFadden and Delta Goodrem. She puts on a brave face to the kids, but tells us how hard it is to hear him singing with the woman he left her for. She later drives Molly and Lilly to the movies when they put Kerry on the spot about why their Mum and Dad split up.

The episode closes with a training session with Dan for DOI. Then Kerry takes the ultimate drug test – taken from a hair sample – she comes up clean.

Wednesday, 30 March 2011, 9:00PM – 10:00PM

With the kids back to school after the summer holidays, Kerry is back to work.

She starts off by attending an awards ceremony, and as ever, the photographers pursue Kerry from her hotel to the ceremony. She’s blown away when she sees one of her life-long heroes, Ken Barlow!

The next morning she’s up early to take the kids to school. She reflects on what a loose end she’s at without them around. She’s in a ponderous mood and starts to analyze how different her life was before the fame. She also remembers the early Atomic Kitten days.

Kerry’s mum Sue comes to visit Kerry and the kids. Sue’s impressed by Kerry’s new slim-line look and they head out together to collect Lily and Heidi from school, prompting a chat about Kerry’s own childhood and schooldays.

They are both photographed at the petrol station en route. Sue tells Kerry that she has decided what she wants for Christmas…a cruise! Bankrupt Kerry isn’t impressed. Back at home it’s more money worries for Kerry, as Lily wants to do extra music lessons at school.

Kerry has been asked to present a category at the Urban Music Awards. She’s very nervous at the ceremony but needn’t have been as she does well and everyone there says how fantastic she’s looking.

Back at home, Kerry puts in more training for her fitness DVD. Keeping with the theme of a new image, she visits the hair salon where she sheds her long hair for a sharp new bob. Kerry’s delighted with it and leaves the salon wearing a headscarf to hide from the photographers.

Finally, Kerry travels up North to see her tattooist and get estranged hubby Mark’s name covered over on her back. Back home again she is called to a meeting with her management who want to make sure there’s no truth to the rumour that she and Mark are seeing each other again. Kerry assures them there isn’t!

Kerry Katona is approaching her 30th birthday. It’s a huge milestone for Kerry as thankfully she has turned her life around and she intends to celebrate in style.

Kerry has never had a party organised for her before, so her management decide to throw her a huge birthday bash – Kerry deserves to have fun!

It’s a night to remember with some emotional speeches and a special performance from Kerry’s favourite group…The Drifters.

Kerry’s life is finally on the up, let’s hope it stays that way.

Thursday, 30 December 2010, 9:00PM – 10:00PM

Things are finally looking up for Kerry Katona. She’s prioritising her family and career and is embracing life as a single mum.

Kerry enjoys time at home with her kids ahead of a family photo shoot for a celebrity magazine. The shoot goes well and the pictures look stunning but Kerry is in high demand and she is getting tired.

Kerry decides to visit her life coaches to talk about how she’s feeling, and in doing so is happy to realise that she is now a much better mother. Kerry is certainly getting her life on the right track but she’s still struggling with a divorce, the move, re-launching her career and being a single mum.

Kerry has a work trip planned to Marbella, Spain, and knowing she’ll miss her children she takes her oldest daughters, Molly and Lilly, with her. Whilst away, Kerry and the girls spend quality time with Kerry’s manager, Claire, who gives Kerry a cooking lesson at their villa.

When Kerry returns to the UK she glams up for the premiere of the movie Salt, starring Angelina Jolie, and is thrilled to be greeted by adoring fans.

Kerry is fast approaching her 30th birthday and hopefully the next decade of her life will see a change in her fortune.

Thursday, 23 December 2010, 9:00PM – 10:00PM

Kerry remains determined to turn her life around and things are looking up as she flies to Spain with her new boyfriend on a working holiday.

Kerry is excited that she has two days of rest and relaxation in the sunshine, before a photo shoot that will accompany a magazine article about her weight loss.

The period of calm is short-lived and there is panic when Kerry wakes up with matted hair after going to bed with wet hair in a bun! Can Kerry’s team get her locks back in shape in time for the photo shoot?

When Kerry returns to the UK she has an emotional encounter with her ex-husband which leads her to contemplate her future. Kerry decides to end her current relationship and she faces life as a single mother, once again.

Thursday, 16 December 2010, 9:00PM – 10:00PM

Kerry is unsure about living down South and has headed back up North in an attempt to make a decision on whether or not to stay permanently in Surrey

However, Kerry returns South, still undecided, so her manager sends her back to GI Jane Boot Camp where back in January 2010 she decided to leave her husband. Here she endures 8 mile early morning power walks, circuits and full on training from 6am to 6pm every day for a week.

The exercise works wonders in clearing Kerry’s mind and she reveals she has finally decided to kick her husband out of her life, for good. Not only that, but Kerry also comes to the conclusion that she wants to make a go of it down South – it’s time to start afresh.

Kerry’s new boyfriend comes to visit Kerry in Surrey but as she gets ready for Elton John’s White Tie & Tiara Ball he’s left home alone painting her kitchen!

Kerry’s excitement over the glitzy evening ahead is somewhat overshadowed by a documentary due out the same night, filmed just before she split with her husband. As if that wasn’t enough, there is further stress for Kerry as she faces round two in her custody battle for the kids.

It seems Kerry is not destined for a quiet life.
