Lydia Louisa

Last night, Lydia Louisa became the fourth housemate to be evicted from the house, which of course meant that Deana stayed, and she was absolutely delighted about it.

Lydia’s exit was fairly brutal in terms of boos, and it all upset Lauren, but Shievonne was pleased that Deana stayed, but rather oddly, she took credit for her having been saved.

She announced, “Big up to all my homies, they would have voted for Deana. My people were on that phone.

“They know we would be friends on the outside.”

However, once the shock had kicked in, Deana had a horrible epiphany.
She said, “Oh my god. I actually have to wash my clothes. I thought I would be out tonight.”

But she turned that glass half empty attitude around and added, “I am going to use this opportunity to learn how to cook.”

Meanwhile, Arron promised he was going to turn over a new leaf where Deana’s concerned, and he said, “Me and this girl are going to start afresh…” Continue reading »

During last night’s Big Brother highlights show on Channel 5 – Wednesday 27th June – as is the norm, Lydia Louisa dominated much of the episode, but this time, I suspect her giant ego may have cost her her place in the house…

We saw Lydia’s super-sized ego surfacing several times in last night’s show, the first being during the Who Nominated Lydia & Deana section of the ‘100’ shopping task.

Having seen Deana already pass her part of the challenge by correctly guessing that Luke S, Conor and Arron had nominated her – so she got to watch them sprayed with fish guts – it was Lydia’s turn, and saying she “wants to see who the sheep are” she chose to douse Scott, Becky and Sara.

However, though she was right about Scott and Becky – they did of course nominate her – Sara didn’t, so not only did Lydia cost the team five points in order to satisfy her own curiosity, she’s most likely ensured a nomination, if she stays, from Sara next week… Continue reading »

Last night’s Big Brother highlights show confirmed for me once and for all that Lydia is a total narcissist, and what’s more, she genuinely has no idea that she is…

The show of course focused largely on nominations, and when Lydia learned that she was up for eviction this week against Deana, she told Luke A – in all seriousness – that the only reason people had to nominate her was that they’d heard the crowd chanting her name when Benedict was evicted.

She said, “I have done nothing to these people, they have no reason to nominate me…”

She later added, “The only reason I can think of is that they might attack… because of my career, that I’m successful.

“I always call a spade a spade and say what’s bad about my personality, but honestly, I haven’t done anything. I don’t know what they could have said.”

Yesterday, Day 21, was of course nominations day, and it resulted in Deana and Lydia facing eviction this Friday…

And that news, combined with cliques forming and tensions mounting, has created an atmosphere of nerve shredding anxiety as increasingly, housemates have joined one side or the other of a divide in the house.

Things began to get tightrope strung out yesterday when Luke A had his first angry outburst when his nap in the bathroom was interrupted by Shievonne and Caroline who decided to wrestle each other in there.

A fuming Luke A stormed out of the room and angrily told Lauren and Adam, “I’m fed up of being insignificant!”

When Lauren and Adam suggested he tell Shievonne and Caroline that he considered their behaviour to be rude, given he was trying to sleep and they were totally oblivious to it, Luke replied, “It’s not worth my breath. They’ll just laugh at me.”

However, on realizing that they’d committed a faux pas, both Caroline and Shievonne apologised to Luke, but as he pointed out, he was “insignificant” to them because they literally hadn’t even noticed him… Continue reading »

Lydia and Deana are both up for eviction this week!

Who do you want to see offski?

Call back tomorrow morning for a full update on how the housemates reacted to the news. Continue reading »

Day 19 in the Big Brother house was all about Ashleigh’s 21st birthday, and BB set out to make it a memorable event for the Essex girl, but having been thrown two parties, when she had to choose just one, it meant an early bedtime for some of the other housemates.

More on that in a moment, but first, the celebrations turned a bit sour when Big Brother gathered the housemates to reveal that as Ashleigh and Shievonne had discussed nominations, once again, they were all to be punished by having no hot water.

As BB relayed the conversation, an embarrassed Ashleigh cringed when the group were told that Ashleigh said of Conor, “He’ll never be up…”

Shievonne agreed and replied, “He’s not feeling Lydia and Deana though,” to which Ashleigh said, “He’s going to go on voting for them until they are up…” Continue reading »

Last night, Deana and Arron (sort of) bonded over some water based fun – which isn’t bad going considering each is going to nominate the other today – but it all ended in tears when Lydia and Shievonne got caught up in the antics…

It all began when Deana confronted Arron over the great epilator and chocolate theft, and as their banter verged on tension, water began to fly. It all spilled over into the bedroom where both Lydia and Shievonne’s beds got soaked, which did not go down well.

Click here to see a clip of the water fight  and here to see the beginnings of the aftermath.

This morning, Arron says he “hates” Deana, and she branded him “a silly little boy”, but he had yet to face the wrath of Lydia!

At 10.15am, Shievonne warned that if housemates don’t start to have more respect for each other, the whole thing will result in a “free-for-all.”

Meanwhile, Deana told a few of her fellow housemates that Arron took things too far last night but she insisted she’s not angry, however, Lydia revealed that she’s annoyed Arron didn’t flip her mattress over having drenched it… Continue reading »

In last night’s (Sunday, 10th June) Channel 5 Big Brother highlights show, housemate Lydia Louisa very quietly, but very skillfully, began and then coordinated, two of the biggest BB13 rows to date…

Which has left me with a dilemma; if she’s up for eviction this week, do I want to Vote to Save her or not?

The reason I’m unsure – though about 100% sure she will be up – is that although I really cannot stand her, for reasons which I’ll expand upon in a moment, her sh**stirring set off the avalanche of rows, tears and bitching that we saw last night…

And without those kind of dramas, the show ends up being horribly dull.

Remember BB4 when Scottish Cameron Stout won? People were losing the will to live during the last few weeks of that series because we’d voted out all the characters who created the drama.

So, while a big part of me wants to join with other viewers who dislike Lydia, and there seem to be a really lot of us, to get her out, the drama loving part of me is saying, “No, let her stay! Let her manipulate and strategize, and bitch and engineer all that drama…” Continue reading »

Last night, Victoria Eisermann became the first housemate to be booted out of the BB13 house – evidently then, 13 isn’t a lucky number for her – and Becky Hannon, the viewers’ choice of Wildcard housemate, went in.

And rather than say hi to her new roomies, an excited Becky – who’s like a super sized Jack Russell on crack – launched herself into the pool having done a victory lap of the entire house.

Caroline Wharram, acting like a relatively normally sized Jack Russell, doggedly pursued Becky and wandered up and down on the pool’s edge telling her that she was so pleased that Victoria got the heave ho, she cheered!

Back in the Bit on the Side studio, Victoria said Caroline was “a dickhead”, and still insisted that she wants Lydia to win. I’m assuming she doesn’t yet know that Lydia told Caroline that she “can’t stand” Victoria then?

And just by the by, only 1% separated the public votes between Victoria and Lydia, so it really was a close call!

However, back in the house, Becky had barely got her first meal down her before BB called her into the Diary Room to give her a secret task. Mwwahhhaaahaaa… Continue reading »

And Victoria reckons she wants to leave – again! – because conversation is too “shallow”

Day 3 in the BB house got off to a groggy start, what with tiredness besetting some of the housemates, and hangovers making it all worse, but that didn’t stop some of them having the usual Getting To Know You chats, and revealing who’s hot and who’s not in the house…

More on that in a moment, but first, with housemate Victoria, having said last night that she wanted to leave because Big Brother refused to supply any more booze, today, she’s saying she wants to go because everyone’s conversations are just too darn “shallow.”

She said that there is nobody in the house that she can have “deep” conversations with, adding, “I feel like every time I try to [talk about serious issues] people run away.

“I might be talking about be about veganism or something like that and people drift off…”

Oh sorry, drifted off there.

I mean come on! Who wants to talk about veganism?! Not exactly riveting stuff is it? However, she redeemed herself somewhat by revealing that her dog can tell the time.

She remarked, “Isn’t it funny how dogs can tell the time?”

Yeah, it’s friggin’ hilarious.

She added, “My dog knows when it’s 4.30pm and time for his dinner without me having to tell him…” Continue reading »
