Michelle Connor

Fans of Corrie will no doubt know that in tonight’s episode, scheming and vindictive Tracy Barlow is going to tell Ryan Connor that she’s pregnant with his child.

The news of course comes as a shock to Ryan, but he immediately declares that he’s going to stand by Tracy and do everything he can to ensure that he’s a good dad to the baby.

However, Ryan’s mum Michelle of course knows Tracy of old, and her first reaction to the news is disbelief. But Ryan reacts so strongly to the accusation that Tracy could make something like that up, Michelle comes to the conclusion that maybe she was wrong…

But Steve – who of course Tracy has been trying to get back with ever since he ditched her on their wedding day – is adamant that she’s lying, however, he suggests to Michelle that just in case she isn’t, they should offer her money to abort the pregnancy… Continue reading »

And Malcolm Hebden says Patti Clare is a “feeder!”

We’ll begin today’s round up of Corrie news with a report in the Daily Star that reveals that wicked Kirsty Soames is going to devastate her fiancé Tyrone Dobbs when she tells him that their baby girl, Ruby, isn’t his!

Tyrone has of course already been through that nightmare once when his ex-wife Molly finally confessed that baby Jack was in fact Kevin Webster’s.

The paper reports that in scenes which will air in September, Kirsty will tell Ty, “She’s not your baby – while you were busy this morning I was in town registering Ruby’s birth.

“I left the father’s name blank, father unknown. You have no legal right over my daughter.”

The crisis comes after Tyrone fears Kirsty is going to hurt baby Ruby when he comes home to find his violent fiancé smashing up the house when the baby won’t stop crying.

At the time, he makes up his mind to take the baby and leave, telling Kirsty, “I won’t stop you seeing Ruby but my mind’s made up.

“There’s no way I’m letting you have custody…” Continue reading »

Plus, Georgia May Foote talks surrogate baby plotline, and Simon Gregson talks Steve’s love life

It’s been revealed today that in the next couple of weeks, Kirsty Soames is going to give birth to a baby girl who she and delighted new dad Tyrone Dobbs will name Ruby.

However, things are set to take a sinister turn when baby Ruby proves to be a grizzly infant who can’t settle, which stresses tired mum Kirsty out, and she reacts violently…

Tyrone, who’s at work in the garage, is first alerted by the neighbours that something’s very wrong at home – they hear the baby crying and Kirsty screaming at her – so he rushes home to find Kirsty smashing the place up!

Hurriedly grabbing baby Ruby, Tyrone rushes out of the house, waiting for Kirsty to clam down before he returns. But while he’s out of the house protecting the baby, he decides that he must leave the area with her to keep her out of harm’s way at her mother’s hands…

But later, when Kirsty swears yet again that she’ll seek help, Tyrone agrees to return with the baby, but can Kirsty keep that promise, or will she hurt Ruby?

We’ll keep you posted!

In other Corrie news, but still on the subject of babies, Katy Armstrong is about to offer to have a baby for her sister Izzy – who of course recently had a miscarriage – however, as Georgia May Foote, who plays Katy, has revealed, Katy hasn’t really thought things through… Continue reading »

Plus Michelle Collins is excited to work with Sue Johnston, and spoiler alert as Ryan’s caught snorting cocaine!

We’ll begin today’s look at Corrie news with a claim by a former girlfriend of The Wanted singer Max George that while he and Michelle Keegan – who plays Tina McIntyre – were together, he bombarded her with sexy text messages.

It was revealed yesterday that Michelle dumped Max nearly two weeks ago after a picture of him kissing an unnamed blonde surfaced in the media.

Citing her reason for ending their relationship as spending too much time apart due to Max’s touring with his band, a friend of Michelle’s claimed, “She’s not very heartbroken” over the split since it had been on the cards for months.

However, in today’s Sunday Mirror, Max’s ex Bobbi Aney has confessed, “Phone sex was natural between us, I could literally get it at the click of a finger.”

Bobbi, who apparently dated Max for three years before he began seeing Michelle, added, “He said how much he loved my lips and kept saying how much he enjoyed sex with me…” Continue reading »

And Kym Marsh reveals that Michelle and Steve will reignite their romance… kind of!

We’ll begin today’s Coronation Street news round up with the shocking revelation that former gigolo Lewis Archer will die later this year in a road accident.

Which of course is über bad news for crimper Audrey who’s only just got everyone to accept that Lewis – who’s played by Nigel Havers – isn’t out to rip her off this time around.

A show insider broke the news about Lewis’s forthcoming sticky end to People, saying, “[The producers] thought it would be tricky to keep his storyline going,” so the decision was made that Lewis would snark it.

However, the reality is that Nigel has been offered a lucrative deal to star in a panto later this year, but he would’ve needed time off from Corrie to do it, and it seems the show’s bosses weren’t over keen on that idea.

So Nigel had a choice to make, and it seems he voted with his wallet. Can’t say I blame him but I do feel sorry for poor old Audrey, who’s turning into something of a Carla Connor-esque black widow, given that her husbands have a nasty habit of dying on her… Continue reading »
