Milkshake! Music Box

This week sees the conclusion of the musical preschool show from the popular Milkshake! team. Presented by Milkshake! regulars Jen Pringle and Derek Moran, the series is designed to breathe new life into the nation’s best-loved nursery rhymes and songs.

Each weekday morning, the lively hosts dance and sing their way through a classic song, accompanied by original music and colourful animation. Once Derek and Jen have performed the song once, they sing it again with a group of nursery-school children – encouraging kids watching at home to join in the fun!

The much-loved songs and nursery rhymes featured throughout the show include such classics as ‘Pat-a-Cake’, ‘Humpty Dumpty’, ‘The Grand Old Duke’ and ‘Hey Diddle Diddle’.

In Monday’s programme, Derek and Jen make tea for all their visitors in ‘Polly Put the Kettle On’.

On Tuesday, Jen bakes a cake as fast as she can in ‘Pat-a-Cake’.

Wednesday’s show finds the pair going round the ‘Mulberry Bush’ on a cold and frosty morning.

Thursday’s instalment sees Derek and Jen ‘Ride a Cock Horse’ to Banbury Cross to see a fine lady.

And on Friday, it is a pocket full of posies for the duo in ‘Ring-a-Ring-o-Roses’.
