The reality drama series charting the fortunes of an ambitious young fashion reporter continues. Mixing real-life events with scripted scenes, ‘Push’ follows Lydia Harrison as she attempts to take the London fashion world by storm. In this instalment, Chloe’s disappearance sends shock waves through the group of friends and forces several people to re-evaluate their priorities. Lydia is happy after her first night with Charlie, but is brought crashing down to earth when she realises that Chloe is missing. She will need the help of her friends to find her wayward cousin, but her pals have other things on their minds. Alex has found romance with Sam. As they share a cosy breakfast at Alex’s flat, they mull over the circumstances surrounding Alex’s move to London, crediting Lydia as the catalyst. Tom is still wallowing in self-pity following his break-up with Rachel, and is struggling to take responsibility for his actions. Lydia gathers her friends at the flat to discuss Chloe’s disappearance. When Alex arrives, he is stunned to find Jake there, and makes his disapproval known. Lydia explains that Jake’s brother is in the police and he is there to help, but tensions between the pair continue to run high. Jake confronts Alex about his attitude towards him and shows a new side to himself through his help in the search for Chloe. Lydia’s gratitude is clear, and when Jake talks fondly about their past life together, it seems possible he might win Lydia over yet again. Struggling with the burden of Chloe’s disappearance, Lydia is distracted when she works with stylist Jackie Dixon, and learns an important lesson about the real priorities in life. When a downtrodden Lydia arrives home, she finds Charlie has made her dinner. Her happiness grows when he reveals he has delayed his departure – just for her. But will this news distract Lydia from the important task of finding her cousin?

The reality drama series charting the fortunes of an ambitious young fashion reporter continues. Mixing real-life events with scripted scenes, ‘Push’ follows Lydia Harrison as she attempts to take the London fashion world by storm. In this instalment, Lydia meets a rival fashion reporter, Chloe acts bizarrely, and Tom finally confronts Rachel about their disintegrating relationship. On assignment for Nicole Farhi, Lydia meets Becci, another freelance fashion writer. The two have had similar experiences, and although the pair get along, there is a hint of rivalry between them. Lydia is soon called in to help out with ELLE’s 25th birthday party. Although the event is glamorous, Lydia’s role is to do general drudge work, and she soon discovers that Becci is also hired to do a similar job. Lydia’s fortunes appear to be changing when she is asked to assist a videographer who will be covering party arrivals for ELLE Online. However, Becci also tags along with the ELLE videographer. The two girls get talking about Lydia’s new flame Charlie, and Becci encourages her to leave the event to go and meet him. Against her better judgement, Lydia goes to see the boy she cannot stop thinking about. Is Becci doing Lydia a favour, or trying to steal her thunder? Meanwhile, Chloe’s behaviour after her meltdown on the roof (see last week’s episode) grows increasingly erratic. Lydia, missing the warning signs, repeatedly snubs her cousin in favour of working. Eventually Chloe snaps, packing her bags and disappearing into the night. Will this spell the end of Lydia and Chloe’s friendship? Elsewhere, Alex reconnects with an old flame, and Tom finally breaks off his engagement to Rachel. Rachel takes the news very badly and confronts Lydia about her and Tom’s dalliance. Will this confrontation lead to a lasting bitterness in the friendship group?

The reality drama series charting the fortunes of an ambitious young fashion reporter continues. Mixing real-life events with scripted scenes, ‘Push’ follows Lydia Harrison as she attempts to take the London fashion world by storm. In this instalment, Lydia and Alex both face housing difficulties and money woes, and Lydia’s actions cost her a steady job. Robert takes Alex out for a meal with some of his gay friends. Although the two are not romantically attached, Robert presents Alex as his latest boyfriend -much to Alex’s chagrin. Alex is rescued from an uncomfortable evening by a phone call from Lydia, who wants to meet him in a local pub. They meet in the pub to discuss Lydia’s crisis about living in London and her increasingly strained relationship with her cousin Chloe. “What am I doing? I don’t belong here!” Lydia laments. The two friends patch up their differences over a drink, then Lydia manages to win some shifts at the same pub. Meanwhile, Chloe, feeling cramped by Lydia and resentful over her relationship with Jackson, asks her cousin to start paying rent. Although money is tight for Lydia, the pub job will help her cover her living costs. After a couple of enjoyable shifts at the pub, Lydia is given the responsibility of covering for her manager, Ros. But just after Ros leaves, Lydia gets a call from ELLE magazine, offering her immediate work. Sensing this is an job opportunity that she cannot turn down, Lydia abandons her post at the bar for the magazine. When she returns to the pub later in the evening, she is given a dressing down by Ros and is promptly fired – and barred – from the pub. Elsewhere, Robert makes a pass at Alex, who spurns his advances. “You really are so tiresomely regional,” Robert says. When he requests that Alex start paying rent, Alex moves out. Lydia gives him permission to move into Chloe’s flat without checking with her cousin first. Annoyed, Chloe turns on Lydia. “I’m really starting to wonder whether this is a good idea,” she says, regarding their living arrangements. Will Chloe end up throwing both Lydia and Alex out of her flat?

The reality drama series charting the fortunes of an ambitious young fashion reporter continues. Mixing real-life events with scripted scenes, ‘Push’ follows Lydia Harrison as she attempts to take the London fashion world by storm. In this instalment, Lydia’s developing relationship with the engaged Jackson causes friction, and her ongoing feud with her best friend Alex worsens. Lydia comes home to find her distraught cousin Chloe throwing away many of her expensive outfits. Chloe is upset, having just lost her job as a dancer. Despite some reluctance, she takes Lydia’s advice and makes plans to visit her estranged father to talk about her problems. With Chloe out of the flat, Jackson calls round, just as Lydia is trying on some of Chloe’s cast-offs. The pair flirt and photographer Jackson takes some pictures of Lydia, inviting her to his latest art exhibition. When Lydia arrives at the exhibition, she is surprised to find that the centrepiece of Jackson’s exhibition is a large blow-up of the photograph he took of her in the flat. This causes much tension with Jackson’s fiance Rachel. Aware of the awkward situation at the gallery, Lydia returns home to find a drunk and upset Chloe. She had an argument with her father and blames Lydia for talking her into going. She is angered further when she discovers that Lydia has been trying on her dresses and possibly wrecking the relationship between her friends Jackson and Rachel. Chloe storms off, putting Lydia’s place in her flat in doubt. Will this mean the end of Lydia’s time in London? Elsewhere, Lydia and Alex meet up to discuss the fact that Alex slept with her ex-boyfriend Jake (see last week’s episode). Alex begins by trying to make amends, but the conversation soon becomes heated. “I’m tired of this poor, innocent Lydia act. Take some responsibility for yourself,” Alex tells Lydia, before she leaves in tears. Matters are further complicated when Jake calls Lydia and claims that Alex is lying about their supposed romantic fling. Who can Lydia trust? And has this event destroyed two of her relationships?

The reality drama series charting the fortunes of an ambitious young fashion reporter continues. Mixing real-life events with scripted scenes, ‘Push’ follows Lydia Harrison as she attempts to take the London fashion world by storm. In this instalment, Alex and Lydia look for a house together, but Alex’s involvement with an older man and a shocking secret from the past drive the two friends apart. Lydia wakes up at her ex-boyfriend Jake’s flat. They playfully flirt then share a passionate kiss, which is confusing for Lydia given their history. After breakfast, Lydia goes to her internship at Models One. She learns that her job for the day is to chaperone a 16-year-old model called Harry as he goes to two casting jobs. Lydia phones her best friend Alex to gossip about her new assignment. “He’s gorgeous but he’s only 16 – I feel like the world’s youngest cougar!” she confides. Will she be able to keep the young model out of trouble, while also resisting temptation? Lydia then meets Alex to go house-hunting. However, the price-range that the two young professionals can afford means that only the lowest-quality flats are available, much to Alex’s distress. “What if I meet someone nice? I can’t bring them back here – they’d trip over the tramp in the doorway for a start!” Alex laments. He then reveals that he has to leave to see Robert, an older man he met on the internet. As this is their first face-to-face meeting, he is clearly apprehensive. Alex’s date with Robert goes well, and the two instantly click. When Alex mentions his housing woes, Robert reveals that he has a large spare room with an en suitebathroom, which he is willing to let out to Alex for practically nothing. This is clearly a tempting offer, but Alex is torn over his loyalty to Lydia. Later, Lydia takes Jake to a fashion launch party. When Alex bumps into the pair, there is clearly tension between the two boys. Alex reveals to a mutual friend, Chloe, that his hostility towards Jake is more complicated than it initially appears. “I ran into him and he and I kind of hooked up,” Alex says, regarding Jake. Although obviously feeling remorseful, Alex has never revealed this shocking secret to Lydia.
