Follow the interwoven lives of some of Notting Hill’s most colourful characters, in the documentary series where what you see has only just happened. An outspoken hairdresser, a budding rapper, two glamorous models, a single mother, a student, two pet therapists, a flamboyant restaurateur and many more, all with stories to tell and decisions to make. What have they been doing in the last seven days?

Channel 4 will attempt to fill the void left by Big Brother in their new reality show, Seven Days.

Described as a “new kind of reality” show, Seven Days will depict the day-to-day lives of people working and residing in London’s Notting Hill.

The show will take place in a variety of places, namely people’s houses and workplaces.  Despite its launch next week, the show has not yet been filmed. Each episode will be filmed a mere seven days before it airs on our screens.

Seven Days will follow the lives of an unemployed musician and rapper, an interior designer, an estate agent, a florist, a hairdresser whose business is struggling as well as celebrity chef Aldo Zilli’s daughter Laura.

Channel 4’s deputy head of documentaries Simon Dickson said, “We’ve come to a moment for Channel 4 with the end of our best-known programme, Big Brother,” and that the new reality show is “a new kind of reality, what happens when you take the walls down.”

Seven Days begins on September 22 at 10pm on Channel 4.
