Spartacus: War of the Damned

Spartacus fans in the UK will only have to wait a couple more weeks for the premiere of the final season.

Sky1 has announced that Spartacus: War of the Damned will return Monday, 11 February at 10pm.

The final season of the show will feature Liam McIntyre, Manu Bennett, Dustin Clare, Daniel Feuerriegel, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Simon Merrells, Ellen Hollman, Pana Hema-Taylor, Christian Antidormi, Todd Lasance, Gwendoline Taylor, Anne Hutchison and Jenna Lind. Continue reading »

Fans of the hugely popular Spartacus series will no doubt be pleased to hear that US network Starz has announced the premiere date for the final installment of Spartacus: War of the Damned, and in the States, it will air on Friday, January 25th, at 9pm ET/PT, while a UK release date has yet to be confirmed.

And ahead of the show airing, we have promos, spoiler clips and behind the scenes footage for you, but first, here’s what Starz has to say of it…

Spartacus: War of the Damned takes place following the defeat of Roman commander Gaius Claudius Glaber.

Spartacus and his men have amassed major victories against the Romans after the Battle of Vesuvius.

These victories have not only forged the legend of Spartacus, but have greatly increased the ranks of the rebellion slaves to more than 30,000. Rome is indeed beginning to tremble at the threat Spartacus now represents.”

War of the Damned sees the return of Liam McIntyre (Spartacus), Manu Bennett (Crixus), Dustin Clare (Gannicus), Dan Feuerriegel (Agron), Cynthia Addai-Robinson (Naevia) and Ellen Hollman (Saxa). Todd Lasance also joins the cast as Gaius Julius Caesar, alongside Simon Merrells as Marcus Crassus and Anna Hutchison as Laeta.
