We’ll begin today’s soapy news round up with Corrie and Shobna Gulati, who’s revealed that she’s “embarrassed” about her character Sunita Alahan’s rather low cut tops and sexy dresses.

Sunita has of course had a radical change of image from mumsy shopkeeper to man eating barmaid, and not only that, she’s been having an affair with Karl Munro, so she’s been dressing particularly sexily of late.

But while appearing on This Morning, Shobna revealed that Sunita’s new dress sense is just a tad too racy for her liking.

She said, “You know how unconfident I am in real life, so it’s been quite a struggle from wearing the smocking tops to the tight-fitting dresses.

“And then my cleavage has become involved – I normally hide them. Suddenly to go on set dressed like that, I am quite embarrassed… Continue reading »
