Actor Larry Lamb, better known for playing one of the greatest villains of British soap, Archie Mitchell, and regular panellist and funny man Ross Noble, join host Adrian Chiles for this week’s show in which they take a lively look at the big stories of the week as well as dissecting some of the sillier events that may have passed under your radar.

This New Year That Sunday Night Show returns to ITV1 for a third series. Each week, host ADRIAN CHILES will once again be joined by three guests for an entertaining look at the past seven days. 

The previous two series saw ADRIAN CHILES joined by a variety of guests including FRANK SKINNER, CATHERINE TATE, ALASTAIR CAMPBELL, ROSS NOBLE, TINCHY STRYDER, AL MURRAY, BRIAN BLESSED, JO BRAND, LORD PRESCOTT, JENNY ECLAIR, SIR BOB GELDOLF, JERRY HALL, ALAN JOHNSON MP, VIC REEVES, MARGARET MOUNTFORD, KATHY BURKE, MICHAEL PALIN, HESTON BLUMENTHAL, HARRY REDKNAPP, SHAUN RYDER, LOUIS SPENCE, JANET STREET-PORTER, LORD SUGAR and many more, all taking a lively look at the big stories of the week, as well as some of the sillier events that may have passed under your radar. 

Alongside the main guests That Sunday Night Show invites those who have been part of the news that week. Highlights from the last series saw JOHNNIE MARBLES, the man who achieved global fame when he threw a shaving foam pie into the face of RUPERT MURDOCH, give his first television interview since his release from prison and PAULINE PEARCE, the “Hackney heroine,” who became a YouTube hit after footage of her berating rioting youths in Tottenham was posted. 

That Sunday Night Show is an Avalon production for ITV1. It is produced by JO BUNTING (Have I Got News for You, BBC One, Loose Ends, BBC Radio 4) and directed by PAUL WHEELER (Have I Got News for You, BBC One, Live at the Apollo, BBC One), while executive producers are JON THODAY and RICHARD ALLEN-TURNER.

This week That Sunday Night Show sees host Adrian Chiles joined by comedian and I’m a Celebrity contestant, Jenny Éclair, politician Alan Johnson and TV presenter and columnist Richard Madeley as they round up the big events and topical news stories from the past seven days.

ITV1 has commissioned a second series of That Sunday Night Show after the first run of the show debuted to strong viewing figures.

The audience for the first series, hosted by Adrian Chiles, grew throughout to an average of 3.7 million, 17 percent share of viewing, for last week’s programme.

That Sunday Night Show is a topical and entertaining round up of the biggest news stories from the past week.  The half hour programme sees Adrian joined by a panel of celebrity guests which in this first series – which ends this Sunday – have included ALASTAIR CAMPBELL, FRANK SKINNER, BOB GELDOF, LORD ALAN SUGAR, CATHERINE TATE, HARRY REDKNAPP, REBECCA FRONT  and MICHAEL PALIN.

Director of ITV Entertainment and Comedy, Elaine Bedell said:  “That Sunday Night Show has established itself very quickly as a popular part of the ITV weekend entertainment line-up. It’s a very watchable, and very funny, reflection on the week, with an often eclectic guest list.”
