This series, presented by a number of guest hosts, brings some fresh tea-time fun to Channel 4. This week actor and comedian Lenny Henry brings his own distinctive touch to an hour of fun and games, exciting stunts, great music, members of the public doing extraordinary things, and interviews with celebrities. Lenny’s guests include Michael MacDonald, who also performs.

This brand new series, presented by some of TV’s favourite faces, brings some fresh tea-time fun to Channel 4. Peter Andre hosts the first two weeks, followed by Denise Van Outen, Lenny Henry, Vernon Kay, Natalie Cassidy, Ronan Keating, Kimberley Walsh, Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer, Fern Britton and Melanie Sykes – bringing their own touch to an hour of fun and games, stunts, music, and, of course, interviews with the presenters’ fabulous famous friends! Peter Andre kicks off the series by inviting music manager and X Factor judge Louis Walsh in for a chat.

Reality star Peter Andre will be a guest presenter on new programme The 5 O’Clock Show.

Andre has been offered the hosting gig which will see him become the first guest presenter of the brand new variety show.

“I am delighted to be offered the chance to further my presenting on this fantastic teatime slot; I am very excited and cannot wait to kick off the show.” he said.

The new Channel 4 teatime show will feature a line-up of different guest hosts who will present a varied selection of content ranging from celebrity guests to everyday heroes, and with musical performances and various reviews covered as well.

Producers are describing the show as focussing on the “funny side of everyday life”.

The 5 O’Clock Show kicks off with Peter Andre at the end of May on Channel 4.
