Weekly discussion show The Agenda with Tom Bradby returns to ITV1 at 10.35pm on 15th October and will be on our screens on Monday nights for the next eight weeks.

Fronted by ITV News Political Editor Tom Bradby, a panel of four guests discuss the coming week’s agenda, from politics to popular culture, in front of a studio audience. Viewers can expect insightful discussion of the major talking points of the coming week and the stories of the moment rather than party political arguments or grillings.

Series one of The Agenda attracted a wide range of guests including Nick Clegg, Mariella Frostrup, Boris Johnson, Martin Sorrell, Germaine Greer, Ross Kemp, William Hague, Fiona Shaw and Ed Miliband, and discussion ranged over dozens of topics – everything from “Eurogeddon” to leaders’ wives and from political “Omnishambles” to Titanic and nostalgia TV.

Series two will pick up where series one left off, and add more context and insight to the major stories.

Speaking about the new series, Tom Bradby said:

“This is a forum to delve into the most-talked about topics of the week ahead. Our guests won’t be short of conversation, insight and opinion when we return in the autumn in the midst of the fall-out from the party conference season, the US elections, the double dip recession and any number of cultural highlights.”
