The Apprentice 2011

The Sunday Mirror today reports that former Apprentice candidate Stuart Baggs has landed his own reality TV show which will air on Channel 4. Here’s the story…

Former Apprentice nitwit Stuart Baggs is to star in his very own TV reality show.

The 22-year-old telecoms entrepreneur – who calls himself Stuart The Brand – is to travel around the world trying to blag jobs.

He will be given £500 to start him off and then he will be followed by film crews as he looks for work using his famously cringeworthy catchphrases.

Bosses at Channel 4 – who have commissioned the series – believe he will charm viewers and become TV gold.

A source said: “He’ll have to find work anywhere he can. Even sweat shops, farms and building sites haven’t been ruled out.

“Stuart’s such a character that, love him or hate him, he will make great TV. And the fact he thinks he’s the world’s greatest salesman will be hilarious.”

Stuart, who came fifth in the 2010 BBC1 Apprentice series, last month appeared on Channel 4’s Celebrity Five Go To… where a group of TV stars compete to be the best holidaymaker.

Despite being the first to be voted off, he impressed producers enough for them to offer him his own show, which will begin filming in August.

Stuart, who lost out on the £100,000 Apprentice job to Stella English, 31, became famed for his boardroom soundbites such as: “I’m not a one-trick pony, I’m not a 10-trick pony – I’ve got a field of ponies waiting to literally run towards this (job).”

And on losing the show, he said: “What’s £100,000? That’s about £65,000 after tax. I wanted way more.”
