Continuing on Milkshake! this week is the CGI animation aimed at two-to five-year-olds. Full of fun, action, comedy and drama, the series follows the adventures of Beep Beep and her friends who live on Beep Island in the middle of Sapphire Sea.
Many stars have lent their names to the series, with ‘Dr Who’ and ‘Little Britain’ star Tom Baker narrating, and Timmy Mallett and Dani Harmer (‘Tracy Beaker’) providing two of the voices.
Originally devised by illustrator Malou Bonicos, The Beeps is a fast-moving, visual sitcom for preschoolers, with simple, yet multi-threaded stories, unexpected twists and action sequences.
On Monday, disaster strikes for Smelly when his house collapses during a spring clean – it turns out that the muck was holding the roof up! Can the Beeps rebuild Smelly’s house just the way he likes it? And where has the Beeposaurus gone?
In Tuesday’s episode, ‘Leafy’s Hoe’, Yuk accidentally breaks one of Leafy’s gardening tools. How will the green-fingered Beep grow his potatoes now? Perhaps Brainy can help...
On Wednesday, in ‘Pet Hospital’, all the pets are poorly and need a place to convalesce. Will Beep Beep mind that her house has become a temporary pet hospital?
In Thursday’s instalment, ‘Twinkleberry Pie’, it is time to make a special twinkleberry pie – but the Beeps will have to catch the pastry first!
And rounding off the week’s episodes on Friday is ‘The Great Pink Sunset’. Yuk must keep Sleepy awake long enough to catch the legendary pink sunset, but it is not an easy task...
