In this week's programme marketing millionaire Carl Hopkins travels to the former mining town of Easington in County Durham, the setting for Billy Elliot , and one of the most deprived areas in Britain, to see if he can help the declining community. He sees the work done by ex-miners in the town: Cyril Dunnwas, a miner for 30 years, has devoted himself to trying to keep the Miners' Welfare Centre open for bored local kids, while Jimmy Egan set up his own 'city farm' to encourage kids to rear livestock and tend their own vegetable plots.
