Earlier tonight the 11 finalists performed. You've voted and now it's time for the results and to find out who is going home.

The contestants get to see how it's supposed to be done as their mentor from this week, Celine Dion, sings Taking Chances. After she sings, Dermott has to work hard to get her to stop talking so they can go to a commercial break and exclaims "She can sing, and talk".

Finding themselves in the bottom two this week are:
Alisha & Daniel

Alisha sings I Say A Little Prayer for You first and has to really fight for it if she wants it.

Then Daniel sings Build Me Up Buttercup and obviously Louie's hope that the voters would carry him through wasn't met.

The decision rests with the judges. Louie votes for Alisha. Sharon votes for Daniel. Dannii votes Daniel. Simon votes to send home Daniel which means Daniel's time on The X Factor is over.

Next week there will be an orchestra in the studio for Big Band week as well as a performance by Boyz II Men
