There have been highs and lows but have the best been saved to last? Tonight it is the final auditions episode before The X Factor hits boot camp.
Simon is feeling optimistic about today. 46 year old hairdresser Jackie is first up to try and impress the judges. She sings
Something Inside So Strong but it sounds like she was choking on something. She's the first of a bunch of people who are told to
Beat It.
14 year old Luke is very theatrical as he sings
Maggie. Simon isn't too sure and makes him cry. He wanted his acceptance. Simon tells him to go away and learn a pop song. He's actually very good and I'd be surprised if he doesn't make it to boot camp.
17 year old Annalisa is singing
And I Am Telling You and Simon loves her voice. The judges love her and it's four yeses.
With that comes a flood of yeses. Cece sings
Anything while a male hopeful sings
You Give Me Something and then 22 year old Charlie sings
Feeling Good.
46 year old Zita is a patriotic Brit with her red outfit. She sings
Candle in the Wind but Simon isn't keen because she sang "condle in the wind". The other judges like her however so she's through.
Raj has spent £50,000 on his music career so far and has plenty of people who have told him he should be signed. You can just tell this is not going to be good - And it's not.
42 year old Barbara is auditioning to prove something to her ex husband. She sings
Somewhere and Simon thought it was a musical "up yours". Simon is the only one to give her a no so she's heading to boot camp.
24 year old personal trainer "Rid" wants to be a star. He's operatic and I'm not sure how far he's going to go but he's through to book camp.
Stephanie sings
Ben and the judges absolutely want her in the next round.
14 year old Luke is back for a second shot in front of the judges and sings
You Raise Me Up. Simon is worried that he only learnt the chorus. Simon says no but because he thinks he's too young. Everyone else gives him another chance though and he's ecstatic and the tears flow again. Louis thinks he could win the competition and I tend to agree.
Next week, it's boot camp.
