This week the contestants have all been having their radical transformations and all the acts have had their teeth whitened, hairs restyled and some have even had laser facials in preparation for the first live show.

All the acts are now living in an eight bedroom house together and in a house with 21 people some people’s antics are getting on their nerves….! Scott and Eoghan have been trying the others acts patience with their high jinx’s antics, including smearing Vaseline on door handles and hiding mattresses in peoples wardrobes!

And Austin seems to be just as bad in the house with his cleanliness habits being called into question, leaving his pants living around in bathrooms and drinking the “communal” milk from the carton. He also is a night owl, often not going to bed till the early hours, but continues to play his guitar even though the others are fast asleep…..

Rachel and Dannii have come to blows this week over song choices, Dannii wants her to sing the dance track, With Every Heat Beat but Rachel wasn’t happy with her mentor’s decision. With Rachel saying, “I’m worried about the song because it’s not in my comfort zone.” Dannii says she “chose the song because I know she can do the job, I won last year and I know what I am doing”.
But after some heated talks Rachel backed down and is going with her mentor’s choice and promises to do the best with the track as she can, “I am going to have to trust Dannii she’s my mentor, she chose m for the final 12 and I am just going to fight for my place on Saturday night.”

Laura White has been suffering from homesickness badly this week, the 21 year old has never lived away from home and is finding being away from the family, coupled with the pressure of the first live show, all a bit too much to bare. But mentor Cheryl has been on hand to offer some words of advice and support and Laura is now feeling much happier and is looking forward to performing on Saturday night.

Girlband have had their first bust-up, the girls have felt the pressure this week not only learning their song but also a complex dance routine, and the pressure hit them on Tuesday and the girls had a falling out. But they have kissed and made up and put their differences aside to focus on the show. But they have been winding Bad Lashes up by claiming to the press they are “better than them”, let’s see what the public think on Saturday.

Alexandra and Ruth have really bonded, sharing a room with Bad Lashes, the girls have really struck up a strong friendship and are even talking about moving in together after the competition.

The JLS boys have been winning all the hearts of the ladies in the house, the exceptionally polite boys have been really attentive and considerate to all those in the house and practising their dance routines in the lounge, minus their tops, has gone down well with all the ladies! And it looks like Ortise is developing a bit of a crush and Spanish Ruth, who he describes as “very sexy”.

Daniel has started a new fitness routine, spurred on by sharing a room with the JLS lads who are 15 years his junior, and he says sharing a room with the JLS boys is making him feel like a teenager again. Obviously missing his daughter, who is staying with his Mum in Spain, Daniel spends every night on Skype catching up with his family.
