hide and peep (1/26)
The popular children’s animation returns this morning with a new string of railway adventures. In this series, Thomas and his friends venture across the Island of Sodor to a range of new locations. Along with some old favourites, a number of new characters make their debut, including Whiff the rubbish engine and a big, black truck named Hector the Horrid! In this morning’s episode, Thomas suggests a game of Hide and Peep while he and Percy are waiting for an important cargo ship at the docks.
In tomorrrow’s episode, ‘Gordon and the Engineer’, Gordon must take an important engineer to repair some points but ends up picking up the wrong person at the station! Later in the morning there is a chance to see the special extended episode ‘Thomas –Calling All Engines’ [see Monday Must See for details].
On Tuesday, there is a double bill beginning with ‘Thomas Sets Sail’. It’s a windy day on Sodor, and Thomas is given the job of taking the mayor’s new sailing boat to the docks for a special launch ceremony. Following this is ‘Thomas and the Storyteller’, in which a famous storyteller comes to the island to open a new library.
Kicking off Wednesday’s Thomas fun is ‘Emily’s Rubbish’. When Emily starts working with Whiff, a friendly rubbish-collection engine, the other engines tease her about her smelly new friend. This episode is followed by ‘Thomas and the Lighthouse’, where Thomas is entrusted with taking a new light bulb to the Sodor lighthouse.
On Thursday, the action begins with ‘Dream On’. When Spencer boasts about being faster, shinier and stronger than Thomas, Thomas vows to prove him wrong. Concluding the double bill is ‘Smoke and Mirrors’, in which Thomas is sent to pick up some important items for a magician.
Friday’s double bill begins with ‘Thomas and the Spaceship’. While Thomas is pushing him back to the sheds, Percy thinks he sees a spaceship. And concluding the week’s fun is ‘Henry’s Lucky Day’, in which a successful day of deliveries in the snow convinces Henry that he has lucky trucks.
