Fashion Gurus Trinny and Susannah from ITV1's "Trinny and Susannah Undress the Nation" have made a bold public appearance to draw publicity for their show. The pair stripped down in front of a rather large crowd in public and gave away all of their bras - to 900 different women!
The stunt was filmed for their show which serves to get women to properly measure their bra size. Needless to say, a number of male onlookers were suitably impressed - both with the fashion tv stars' strip show and the strip show from the 900 women crowding around for free bras!

My mother had the same problem, and i have noticed this in other post-menopausal women no matter what their age. It is almost as if the top of the breast becomes concave.
Not to worry. First, find a good bra fitter. In the U.S.A., it's Nordstrom's, but I don't know who to recommend there. Maybe a boutique. You need a sturdy but comfortable band, the right size. Most women buy them too large. You need light PADDING in the top of the cup to fill in the 'underinflated' part. Took me weeks to convince my mother of this. "I've never worn a padded brassiere in my life!" I even showed her pictures of a younger woman with the same problem. Of course, you need underwire, but it shouldn't be uncomfortable.
Don't settle for some armour-plated monstrosity such as Playtex -- there are plenty of beautiful bras out there. As a 42 DD, I recommend WaCoal and Chantelle especially. The padding in the top will make an amazing difference under a sweater! Good luck! ---Samantha

I have always had a magnificent shape my breasts being my best asset until recently when, due to hormonal changes (I'm approaching menopause), my breasts got alot larger. To my horror they have enlarged only on the underneath side and not on the top so that the top of my breasts have stayed a "C" cup but underneath I've become a "DD" cup. Consequently I've been fited with a "DD" bra which means I'm not filling out the top of the bra properly and the bra is not giving me a proper uplift. Now my boobs are virtually hanging down around my waist. If this continues much more instead of wearing a bra I think all I'll do is tuck my boobs into my pants!
WHAT CAN I DO TO GET A PROPER UPLIFT IN A "DD" CUP BRA THAT WILL NEVER FIT MY UNUSUALLY SHAPED BREASTS PROPERLY?
PLEASE HELP!
MORTIFIED,
TRACY STEURER.
