(1988) Filmmaker Errol Morris reconstructs and investigates in riveting detail the case of Randall Dale Adams, a man who was kept on Death Row in Texas for 12 years when he was falsely convicted of killing a policeman. In this documentary detective story, Morris examines the fantasy and reality that surrounded the main characters in the Adams' story to prove that Adams was - as he had always claimed - innocent.
